  1. I'm a few years older and just started working on a SA collection this past year (mostly ASM books). While most of my friends have moved on from collecting, I do agree that our generation (early millennial) will keep the hobby relevant for many more years.
  2. Wow. Very impressive collection. I don't think you'll have any problem moving books 25-100 individually (plus any slabbed keys). Depending on how you sell, you'll probably make more selling them individually. The value of these books keep going up. I just got back into collecting over the past year and it's getting to be a pretty expensive hobby. Good luck whatever you decide.
  3. #4 is one of my all time favorites as well (my profile pic gives me away...haha)
  4. Great looking book! I would say 8.5 if graded as is. As noted above, a press & clean could get this in the NM range 9-9.2. Good luck!
  5. I think the new movie coming out next year is driving up the price for #13...#5 has been way up too. Any thoughts?
  6. Hi all - I'm still fairly new the boards. I'm working on a 1-100 run, about 40% there at the moment. I still have some pretty big gaps in the 1-20 range. Most notably issues 1-3. Just reading through the thread history and there are some great looking books in your collections. I'm mostly going for books in FN to VF rage (and will likely go lower for #s 1-3). After I complete the set I may go back and upgrade some. I usually get my books from auction sites. Heritage & Comic Connect have been great sources so far. I'm planning to get to a few cons in the fall as well. And I try to check the sellers thread here as often as I can. Any tips or advice for a newbie?
  7. Hi all - to introduce myself I've been a reader for close to 30 years (of just about everything marvel & DC, and some indies Sin City/Walking Dead/TMNT), but not much of a collector until the past year. I joined CGC earlier this year to start getting some of my more valuable books slabbed. I really wish I bagged and boarded everything all those years.... It's great to see such an active community here. I don't know very many folks in my everyday life that share the hobby. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on the boards. I'll mostly be in the comics market forum looking for silver age books, and maybe some copper/modern. Good luck to you all with your collections!
