  1. I'm pretty sure this wasn't a once in a lifetime opportunity. McFarlane did CGC signings twice a year before and now that he is done with his movie I'm sure there will be more signing events. I have also seen that he has attended a few conventions this year, so you can get his signature there if you aren't needing CGC SS.
  2. I believe he is referring to you misspelling Todd McFarlane's name.
  3. I have a feeling someone is going to start a "What did you get signed at CGC's Todd McFarlane private signing?" thread....
  4. It print signed by Tim Curry. It's been discussed before that Tim Curry doesn't sign your items at the show. You drop them off at a table set up at the show and he signs them later on and you get them back a few weeks later. The people handling your stuff does not care about your collectibles at all. I had this print rolled up in kraft paper, in a thick mailing tube, and I even addressed it for them. I wanted to help them out as much as I could. When it was sent back to me, it was sent raw with no kraft paper in a thin tube. I had small folds on both ends of my print. Hopefully the top loader will get rid of them over time. So i guess paying $275 (it was $225 before the show and then they bumped it up to $275) doesn't buy handling your items with care.
  5. This was my first print I sent off to CGC. Signed by Bruce Campbell, Nick Castle, and Robert Englund. I'm going to add Kane Hodder next year and hopefully Brad Dourif will make an appearance too.
  6. I couldn't find any books for these next guest to sign so I brought some prints instead. Silent Night Deadly Night print signed by Robert Brian Wilson from part 1 and Eric Freeman from Part 2 Sleepaway Camp print signed by Felissa Rose. Another guest that loves her fans and is really easy to talk to.
  7. Nightmare on Elm Street #1 Green Leather edition signed by Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, and Ronee Blakley. Really happy at my first raw book submitted that came back at 9.9.
  8. Re-Animator #0 Green Foil edition. This definitely one of my favorites. The picture doesn't show how beautiful the greens are. Signed by Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott, Barbara Crampton, and Kathleen Kinmont. Not sure what went wrong with 3 signatures not getting authenticated and getting the "Qualified Label", but this is currently back at CGC getting a new label. Shadow Hunter #1 signed by Jenna Jameson. Didn't recognize her at first, she doesn't look like I remember from my youth, but still nice to talk to.
  9. Halloween #1 signed by 13 cast members. I bought this off of Triston at the convention and we cracked it open to add Sandy Johnson (Michael's sister). Halloween II: The Blackest Eyes #1 signed by the first Michael, Nick Castle and signed by rumor has it the last Michael, James Jude Courtney.
  10. Elvira: Mistress of the Dark #1 signed by Elvira, I love that she took the time to write out a quote from her movie for me! Masters of the Universe #1 signed by Meg Foster, another person I recommend meeting. Super nice! Also thanks to Kevlar for adding Dolph Lundgren later.
  11. Jeepers Creepers #1 signed by the creeper himself Jonathan Breck. From Dusk till Dawn adaptation signed by Tom Savini. This was a 9.8 but Tom was upset over a line of people waiting on an other guest interfering with his table and he bent this over the bins on his table when he signed it. Added some spine stress, hoping to get it back to 9.8 after a press when I get Danny Trejo added next year.
  12. Pumpkinhead #1 signed by Lance Henriksen. If you never meet him I recommend go seeing him. He's really nice and easy to talk to. After the doors closed I saw him on the hotel patio talking with fans, really great guy! Dark Horse Presents #36 (first Aliens vs. Predator) signed by Lance Henriksen and also a thanks to Kevlar for adding Ian Whyte.
  13. Evil Dead 2 Beyond Dead by Dawn #2 and #3 signed by Bruce Campbell. I also have #1 signed by Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, and Ted Raimi, but it's currently with Rich getting Kassie Wesley DePaiva added.
  14. Evil Dead #1 signed by Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi. Also a shout out to @Rich_Henn for getting Betsy Baker, Ellen Sandweiss, and Theresa Tilly previously. Army of Darkness #1 signed by Sam Raimi
  15. Instead of filling up the celeb thread I thought I would just put everything in here. A big thanks to @Triston Pence and his crew for witnessing and helping me with this. They were awesome!!!
  16. Regardless of what type of account you have you will need to fill out the paperwork. Also there is a Todd McFarlane private signing thread you can ask your questions on.
  17. It varies depending on time of year (convention season) and if it follows a major event (SDCC, NYCC, etc.) You can check the current turnaround times on the CGC website by going to the "submissions" tab and clicking "Services & Fees"
  18. This book was a pain to find in decent condition. Signed by Fred Savage
  19. Maybe because it was a free book he sent out to retailers and he doesn't want anyone selling it at a ridiculous price since it was free?
  20. ok, looks like that thread just got locked... Here's the other thread
  21. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong but if he is at a convention then he will not do anything for CGC. Since this is a private signing with CGC you can send them to a facilitator to get signed, but CGC states in their instructions that you can use a free CGC account to mail in submissions. So, you don't have to go through a facilitator. Also there is already a Q&A thread open about the signing so you can ask further questions there.
  22. I didn't have any problems with the post office, CGC received mine ok. CGC takes credit cards and checks.
