Great buy. No matter how many times the Omnibus series books are reprinted they melt away in the endless demand for them. I was lucky to buy all three FF books in their first printings. It would be interesting to compare the different printings to see if there is any subtle differences between them in terms of binding, print quality, paper stock etc.
Who knows?

A very interesting read that gives a good sense of Batman’s history. I still have the copy I was given Christmas 1972, along with the Superman volume.

Another issue I bought new. Just loved this story. I will revisit SA Batman in World's Finest again another time.

I bought this issue new off the stand. Not this copy. I always liked the different tone between World's Finest and the other Batman/Superman  titles.

Of course Superman having super kids had already been a theme in issues such as Superman #131, #166 and others.

Here are those pesky super sons playing up again!

Soon after that Bizarro Batman appeared...

There was still a ton of fun to be had with the earlier issues. #154 introduced the super sons, who still appeal to modern readers.

World's Finest Comics had begun with separate stories for Batman and Superman. By the Silver Age they had become a team. Many covers were fun but some too silly. By the later 1960s Neal Adams was toning down the camp and adding more drama.
