Guys If everybody would print out this post with my email address Kris_comics@yahoo.com and take it to your local comic shop no matter where you are in the united states or canada and ask them to post in there local retailer webgroup It might help me to retrieve the book someday. I don't think it will leave texas maybe not even the city but I am desperate and heartbroken. I know it sounds stupid to be that wrapped up in a book but I am not rich I didn't just throw money at this book I went to many conventions and store signings and got the sketches one at a time back when artist didn't mind sketching for a fee or for free.

This book is very expensive. be prepared to spend well over 10,000 dollars for it. They are also extremely rare -
I went the the local halfprice books.

Thanks. I have been getting sketches in this book for 10 years. Just the book alone cost me 90.00 the sketches are a whole nother story. I am really afraid that the thief thought it was a laptop since it was in a laptop bag and might throw it away when they realize it is not. I checked every public trashcan and dumpster within a half mile of the storage shed.

I posted this in general and art but I thought it was relevant here also Hi everybody, Last night my storage shed by somebody. It was a crime of opportunity. Mostly what was stolen were tools and a few graded books. The item of true value is a custom bound Sketch book with sketches of Golden Age Sandman. The spine is lebeled sandman mystery theater in rose gold. This is possibly my most prize possession. It contains sketches by John Cassaday, Mark Brooks, George Perez, Glenn Fabry, Steve Dillon, Carl Potts, Gabrelle Dell otto, Gesseppe camuncoli, Alan Davis, Adam Hughes, Sam Kieth, Kelley Jones, Rob Liefeld, Ben Templesmith, Karre Andrews, and more. if anybody spots this sketchbook in its entirety or single sketches sliced from it please contact me and the police. I am offering a small reward as I am not a rich man. I live in lewisville texas a suburb of dallas and the local shops know about it so does every shop within 50 miles of me. If for some reason the person who stole this item comes on here and sees this I will let them return it no questions asked. Please Help

Well looks like I just wasted 700 dollars on a plane ticket and exhibitor badge only to find out my xmen 141 can't get SS I don't understand how anybody including a creator can tell a collector and a company what they can and can not do. Perhaps if everybody stopped purchasing titles written or drawn by creators who take this stance people would wake up and say these are just signed funny books owned by some one else why should it effect how I conduct myself

What Are The Rarest CGC SS Celebrity Sigs
SignatureSelect replied to TomG's topic in The Signature Room
Roger Moore SS books are available everyday and they have a price tag of more than 1000. I feel that one would have to offer more than 1000 to make that happen. Connery doesn't sign, He hardly makes public Appearances, and he lives in the Bahamas. Those are alot of obstacles getting in the way. Add to that Mr. Connery doesn't need the money, openly shuns the public, and CGC would need to approve the signing and the books and a witness would need to be present. I don't believe it will ever happen as much as we would all love for it to. But no one should ever give up hope. -

I was not soliciting for anybody. I was simply defending NY comics. Explaining what could of happened and saying people should be more understanding. I hope you do well with your Signing with Mr. Mcfarlane. -
What Are The Rarest CGC SS Celebrity Sigs
SignatureSelect replied to TomG's topic in The Signature Room
As someone who has been involved in the SS program for 15 years. I will say that "hey we bumped into somebody and they signed" has never been allowed. Everything has always had to be approved in advance, even on chased books. A location had to be provided, a date had to be provided, and some kind of proof (ticket stub, picture from the signing, playbill, program, Ect. ) had to be provided. For example I got Rudy Giuliani to sign a Marvel 911 book at a motivational speaking event. It was approved in advance. He signed one item and I provided a program from the event. It is real and rare and all rules were obeyed. I am sure somebody might question it. George Bush showed up that day also unannounced walked up to me and asked if I wanted him to sign it (true Story) and I said no because it was not approved for him to sign the item for Signature Series. Witnesses follow rules, and even though people question books (most likely because they have not figured out a way to get the signature themselves) I would like to believe that all signed books in the SS program are legitimate. -

You know the guys at Ny Comics are real good guys. They got my ASM 298 signed last year and it got a 9.8 even with them getting both sigs. And they treated me very nice on the price. The Sigs also have great color choice and perfect location. This is only one of many books they have done for me. They have also been in the business for around 10 years. You should understand that sometimes creators change signing dates. Maybe their books were mailed in to todd to sign at the office and they did not want to risk customer books so they chose to wait for the private signing to handle the customer books. -

What Are The Rarest CGC SS Celebrity Sigs

Well First affleck isn't a 50 dollar autograph. Never has been never will be. Jefferydean morgan charges 80 dollars and has a line around the block same with norman redus, stan lee, Adam West(may he rest in peace) William Shatner, Tim Curry, Mark Hamill and so many more many of them charge between 100 and 200 and they attend conventions atleast once a year if not more. Affleck does not and probably never would he signed posters at the D.C. Booth for 1 hour one per person. and darted out of there in a cloak with security. This isn't a run of the mill sig from somebody that is at conventions signing yearly. This is a superstar actor who doesn't need the money. As for Being a Sig Series Addict I have 800 books and have been doing it for 15 years. I have a pretty good idea of what books are worth. I have bought sold witnessed and facilitated quite a few. For example I sold random run of the mill D.C> Alan Moore SS books for between 400 and 800 dolars each Seven years ago and I know for a fact he signed over 50 -
