  1. Another one arrived in the mail today all the way from Spain- nice action page of Storm and Colossus by Ramon Rosanas - really like the detailed line work on this one. Reached out to Ramon via Instagram to secure this beauty.
  2. I have bought art direct from him this year and there was no COA
  3. SO do you think the hobby will die then? More and more artists are moving to digital..
  4. Made my first trade with Burkey - very happy to add this Bill Sienkiewicz Uncanny X-men Page
  5. Oh man! I love this page... missed it by 30 seconds last year when it was on Facebook for sale. Congrats!
  6. David- yea it is a bit bigger.. really loved the page and it was not to expensive so the "original" was worth it to me.
  7. Another one I could not resist that was done digitally... Rod Reis Krakoa reveal splash! He owes me a sketch because he forgot but his rep said he will take care of it for me.
  8. This one is actually a mono print (I caved) because it was done digitally .. one caveat to going for the 1/1 print was I asked for a sketch and Matteo Lolli knocked it out of the park!
  9. Thanks guys! Glad your enjoying it.. a couple more in yesterday
  10. Thanks! made me feel better about buying them I asked for Remarque and this is what I got.. really happily surprised about what Matteo did.
  11. Well - I took the plunge on mono prints.. I was initially against the whole thing but have been softening to the idea as more and more artists are just doing pages digitally . I was hunting pages from the Giant Size X-men tribute and a large portion where digital only so I figured if I was taking the plunge now was the time: I ordered two mono prints of pages I really liked , the artist both had the same rep. And he was great about my apprehension on them. I did make one ask ... I asked for both artists to sketch something on the back of the print so I would get some true art and act as a provenance of sort. Funny thing - I ordered two and got two very different results/ the Matteo Lolli page - looks feels and seems like a “real” page and honestly I think someone would have a hard time distinguishing it from a normal page (scary) and he delivered a great sketch on the back. the Rod Reis page looks like a print.. it is very pretty but what I would expect in this realm .. a bit different and not really what I will be looking to add more of to my collection . Although happy to have this one. He also forgot to sketch it but I will be gettting it. Figured I would share my experience and the major differences
  12. The thought of stolen comic art is always in the back of my head... there are so many trades made among collectors and little centralized info around stolen pieces that I know of.. that it seems pretty simple to "launder" those pieces into a collectors hands who has no clue it was stolen. The Bill Seinkiewicz batman painting that came to auction this year before anyone realized it was stolen is a great example.
  13. I just thought it was such a neat idea.. and the odds of me owning an original cockrum from it are slim to none.. so next best thing .
  14. We like you ... ( and the only time i write checks in my life now are to you , @Readcomix and weddings lol)
