OK that’s it guys, the thread is finally and truly CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. Congrats to those who stuck around and helped me clear the cupboards by grabbing all the freebies in the coda.
Will start invoicing tomorrow, beginning with those whose purchases will be shipped in USPS medium or large flat rate priority (you bought any slabs, you bought 5-20ish raw books. Then will be getting in touch with those who bought 4 or less raw books or whose purchases require shipping by weight so you can select shipping options prior to invoicing. Expect books to begin shipping before the end of the week.
Thanks again everybody!

DEEP CUT, worthy of claiming this awesome book. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Correct. Although originally he was Brooks Choice to play the Sheriff, but the studio claimed his past with drugs made him uninsurable and wouldn't finance the movie with him as the star.
Ha didn't know that! Totally different movie with Pryor, fun to think about.

Stir Crazy , Blazing Saddles!!!!!
Stir Crazy is my favorite Wilder/Pryor movie. He's not in Blazing Saddles, you're thinking of Cleavon Little. Pryor used to make a lot of his cash by putting out stand up movies. I'll never forget my dad taking me to see RP Live in Concert in the theater in '79 (I was 12) and I was amazed, I'd never heard so much filthy language and my old man was bawling he was laughing so hard. Transformative movie for me, was hooked on Pryor instantly.

OK next FREEBIE.
My 3 favorite freebies being given away ITT are the 3D books. The first was actually a 3D Kirby poster given away earlier. I'm not generally a jungle/Tarzan book kind of guy but Joe Kubert was born to draw these kinds of books and the 3D's awesome. 3D glasses NOT included but what self-respecting comic book nerd doesn't have a pair lying around somewhere?
Claim this freebie by naming a movie 1956-1984 starring RICHARD PRYOR:

Glad to see the winner go with something other than Enter the Dragon (no offense @onlyweaknesskryptonite)

Lost boys
You're thinking of his son Kiefer, who's in that movie, which is from the later 80s

Yep, "starring" just means he's in it. Doesn't have to have the top dog role. And IBS is my favorite DS movie, with bonuses of Leonard Nimoy and Jeff Goldblum

No legal online poker in Texas. Most of my playing was when I was growing up Arkansas with just friends at our homes. Some of my friends moved to Texas along with me and we kept playing for a while. Jeez, I haven't played in
years now with my friends. We are all married and domesticated now.I would have LOST MY MIND during the year and a half we were all stuck inside without online poker. The card rooms in AC are totally different now than they were pre-pandemic and I haven't played live the entire time, except for my local monthly tournament group which just started up again last month. AC has abdicated the tournament scene to the west, the casinos haven't been able to hire back all the dealers they fired in 2020. Poker is barely holding on here, there's some cash game action but most aren't ready to return to 9 and 10 handed tables and cards, chips, close quarters etc. But the online game has flourished for obv reasons and we should have Pennsylvania added to our player pool soon which will be FANTASTIC.

This answer is correct and @WeR138 wins the freebie, but he chose the most obvious answer. Party foul.

This is cool, as would have been Thief, The Gambler, Rollerball.

Funny, I used to play poker all the time about every weekend and few week nights as well. Love that game. I like Rounders too but to me "The Cincinnati Kid" is a lot better.
Another movie about poker is "Give the Little a Big Hand" starring Henry Fonda and Joanne Woodward. That was a really good card movie too.How are the card rooms in Texas? You don't have legal online poker down there do you?
