  1. Marat has been around since the early 90's. Pals around with the early Image guys but never broke out with them. Does work from time to time for a variety of publishers including Marvel. It's interesting to me how some just explode and others hover, because his art is on par with some of his contemporaries. Thoughts on his work? And to bring it around to OA I am thinking of approaching him for a commission, samples below.
  2. Yes, rule would be a $100,000 to be used on original comic art only. Buy what is available today. You have 5 days to spend it Brewster’s Millions style. Don’t get to save what is unused. In case anyone asks, the $50,000 is cash and is tax free in the form of $20’s.
  3. You or your family are never allowed to trade or sell.....evvvvaaaaaar. Give away, sure why not.

  8. His style does lean towards Frank Miller more so than Jim Lee.
  9. He has a style that makes him stand out and unique but is his art great? If not for starting his own pub/series would he have made it to the big two based on his artistic ability? I for one love his art....just having a hard time seeing it applied to the Marvel or DC stable.
  10. $600 to $800 on the Finch????
  11. Are they doing a Sketch Fighter sponsored by SyFy this year? I remember seeing this last year where they would have several artist sketch the same character in front of a crowd.
  12. On a line for line recreation does the artist light box or trace the exiting art? Or is it freehand?
  13. That Byrne Parker 101 has an attractive price.
  14. See you and raise you my favorite Cobra Commander look.
  15. Thank you. Arriving this week. My only regret is I did ask him to personalize it for me...worried it may take away from it, haven't seen it with the "best wishes" yet.
  16. Alex Saviuk is a good dude and very affordable with quick turnarounds. I have been talking with him about a Web 70 cover redo.
