  1. Your room's getting crowded...time to sell some of your stuff...to us. Though I doubt we can afford it.
  2. action1 I don't see the link..have you fix it? if you want send me the pics and i'll post it.
  3. It took me quite awhile to find a nice centered copy of this book.
  4. Kudos to Foolkiller, quick and free shipping of a nice book.
  5. If I had followed GPA when I bought my Avengers 1 DR 7.5 pedigree from Bob (GPA then $1900 price $2300) then I would not have bought it. I just asked Bob for some discount and lower price a little which he did. Now if you check GPA that book is now $2600. Its still in my collection. Just talk to Bob and ask for his best price if you want a book.
  6. As George said GPA is a tool to help buyers/sellers out there. It provides a yardstick. Some people post high prices in clink but you can always do a counter offer.
  7. how about the white mountain copy at ebay?
  8. kudos to Anfield, Jernanimal, Apothesis...some of the people I have bought books from...oh yeah Drummy too
  9. Batman 1 for me too...Filter, the way I see it, if its up to you, you will get both nice books.
  10. now who owns the allentown copy now...last sold for?
  11. i think its the same analogy as that of the TMNT series...I am fairly surprise with the prices of Teenage Mutant Ninja (Mirage#1). I think the price range is about the same as Albedo#2. Basically its just the market playing supply and demand, if there is a demand the price would maintain...i have been waiting a lonf time for TMNT #1 to drop...it doesnt thats why i just bought a 3RD PRINT so any Albedo#2 2ND PRINT
  12. nice thread...wonder though what happened to the guy
  13. wow...nice covers...hi grade archies are hard to find. almost jumped on the Jughead 1 8.0 at heritage but decided against it...anyway nice topic
  14. hi all, i just showed my brother in law my collection of golden/silver age comics and he told me about this story. we live outside USA and comics are hard to comeby way back in 60's but he distinctly remember having a ASM#14 on his collection. He remembers the yellow cover and green goblin...he took good care of it...Fast forward to 80's, they were moving houses and somehow they had alot of stuff...a neighbor volunteers to get the stuff for FREE...so He GAVE them away...he just went to heritage and couldnt believe the prices of that particular comic of his that got away!
