  1. Well people would say it was from the "famous Burtboy collection" but was graded poorly by CGC the first time so they resubbed.

  15. I did a search on the church collection and these forum pages came up. I read alot before I joined and found out about Hammer's sorted history and was sure glad I got out bid on a couple of his auctions
  16. I guess the sad thing is there is a long line of people willing to ripoff their fellow man/woman for a few bucks sigh!!!
  17. Because we are "in" to comics we know.. but I feel sorry for every person thats been suckered in hope of finding the pot-o-gold. I feel sorry for some of the people, like a story that was posted on here awhile ago about the poor couple who found a Batman 1 and were so excited about it because they needed the money....of course it turned out to be the FFE reprint. On the other hand, I don't feel much sympathy for people who drop a couple thousand on a fake Action 1 without taking the time to learn about it first. That's just stupid. I know I would never shell out that kind of cash without covering all of my bases first. Those people are alot more plentiful then we think. how else could some of these guys stay in business(hammer/Ewert)

Sorry Andy - I tool a look at the dealer's other auctions (nice selection by the way - affordable for those of us who don't want to or can't shell out $32K for VF/NM slabbed copies )and saw another that might have that top staple issue as well - the JLA 5 But I found his shipping notes pretty funny...looks like he loves Canadians freak'n Greggy... what's not to like about Canadians Happy Thanksgiving You don't count anymore jbud you live in the USA you are not alllowed to hang with us manitobians anymore
