    Looking for some advice on a potential large (for me) purchase. If all were about the same cost, which would be the most preferable? 1. Blue Label 1.5, too corner of cover missing (maybe 1-2” piece) 2. Conserved in a 2.5 (cover and first wrap married) 3. Raw 3.0ish with amateur color touch (looks more like a kid put marker on it at some point in its life.) Any advice would be appreciated. I have a pretty extensive collection but generally stick to very high grade modern and mid to high grade silver. This one is a little out of my comfort zone but it’s a book I have always wanted. Thanks in advance!

    Recently bought a low to mid grade copy of Avengers 1. At some point in its life, a child wrote their name on the cover in pencil. Can pencil be removed from a cover without being branded as restoration?
