    I would leave it be.  Too much won’t get fixed and putting heat on the tape could make things worse...IMO.  Very nice just the way it is.

    I wouldn't press and regrade. 
    The big issues with the book,  soiling, stains,  tape and edges break color won't be addressed with a press. I doubt the grade would bump to a 2.0, but it could be a 1.0 
    But hey,  you've got an X1 that presents really well and is signed by the Stan fellow. 
    As an aside I have a similar situation with a JIM83, but mine is a 1.0. I can send pictures later if you want to see it.

    Hi first time posting here! I've purchased this X-men 1 a few weeks ago and I'm contemplating whether it's worth a shot at press and regrade. 
    Biggest flaws are obviously the tape and the slight fading. Other than that I don't see big flaws. What would you do? Take the risk or leave as is?
    Book was signed and graded in 2007
