  1. Heard good things about The Eternaut. Have to pick that up
  2. That book is insanely scarce. No idea why
  3. The Northeast Comic Con is being held this weekend in Boxborough Mass, which is not that far from New Bedford. Might be worth contacting the promoter and ask that he have all the dealers be on the look out if this scumbag tries to sell it there. https://necomiccons.com/ne-comic-con-info-faq/venue/
  4. Thank god! I was trying to figure out how many organs and how much blood I'd have to sell in order to buy it.
  5. This is amazingly apropos. Inserting your hot dog can get you into quite a pickle
  6. That is legit a good idea. Never thought of that actually lol! I guess I just would like the repro cover to make it feel more "complete" But that's just it, it still won't be complete.
  7. how come? What benefit is there in attaching a repro cover to it? I can't see any. If you had an original cover, then maybe. Get it regraded by CGC (if you want) and find a nice frame for your repro cover and hang it on a wall.
  8. The old board software had its issues but there are definitely parts of this software that feel like more of a lateral move than an improvement. Yeah, it's got more bells and whistles than the old software but is all that really worth it? The worst thing though is the lack of support. When the new boards went up, Arch and Scott were all over it. Who's piloting the ship these days? Who's in charge of technical issues, upgrades, and just general questions? No idea.
  9. Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Freakazoid. All great More comics. Less General
  10. Now I gotta find out which ones. I probably have them. Do you know what they are off the top of your head? No. I'd have to go digging
  11. Without hitting the like button;that's some good comic talk.My dad loved Swamp Thing, one of the few 'super-hero' books he'd bring home.More of a Sgt Rock,Cracked magazine ,Conan fan. I have some Sgt Rock comics that have back up features drawn by Bissette and Totleben. Veitch too. It's fun to see their earlier stuff.
  12. That is killer. I have a # 2. Only one I have from the series
  13. I always kinda wondered what Swamp Thing root vegetables would taste like
  14. The lines have formed. (sigh) Look, I'm as guilty as anyone else but maybe, just maybe we can all put this schoolyard bullpoop behind us and actually talk about, you know, comic books? How about it? No more petty "likes" clubs. No more antagonism. No more passive aggressive. Anyone else want to step up? I'm serious Like steveinthecity said, More comics, less general
  15. This two page splash from Demon # 1 did it for me. I was not a Kirby fan but when I saw this, it really opened my eyes
