  1. Thanks for that name any other names to also look into. Ideally on fb. As I don't use any other social media.
  2. Ya like I said I just need to settle on open jam or box out spaces. If I do boxes. I might have probably who ever I decide to do first sketch maybe do layout. If not maybe contact a few artists I am friends with to see if they do it. Or do you got a few names I could look into and seeing what they say?
  3. Well I am ideally probably just going with all head sketches to maybe bust level. But ya I thinking I may box it out so I know each area be for this character and what not. I was thinking going 9 per side. So then it gives me 18 characters to work on getting probably for awhile. Counting on budget and what artists will be attending shows I plan to go too. I was thinking if I do 9 per side maybe 8 boxes per side be the head/bust side. And 1 per side be a larger box for maybe a full body for 1 character. But like I said I have no other shows I am going to this year. So I got over 6 months to settle on my plans.
  4. It is odd though it' on the back. And coming from a signing only 2 years ago. I would think he would just do front. Unless original owner requested it on back?
  5. Weird Stan signed the back of annual and not front.
  6. Some nice stuff guys. Ya for my jam. I not starting it to probably first show I go to next year in april. For my marvel 1000 blank. I still trying to figure out do I want characters open or boxed out. If boxed out how many. I have a rough idea on heroes and villains I plan to get. Just would like to get idea fleshed out. As I have many months to go.
  7. Nice sketch there. I got a blank 1000 I plan to start getting Jame on front and back at next year's cons I go too. Still debating how many characters per side. Plus do I have it open or graph out. I plan to do heroes on cover villains on back.
  8. I may get finished version image of my spider hulk sketch this weekend I commissioned a few months back. If so I will be posting and then I just need to work with artist on pickup.
  9. Here is a better image of lex sketch I got from Kevin Conrad back on Saturday.
  10. Ya I like I said just looking for best options for storage in the closet space I have. I just decided to remeasure my space. I made incorrect measuring. Closet is 2 feet deep, and 5 ft 7ich width. Then I have 5ft 3 inch vertical space. To I hit bar clothes hang from. And above that shelf that I have other things stored on. So with that amount of space and dimensions I have. What would be the best options to go with.
  11. Well the drawer thing I mentioned in sked I asked if they had from there store or got it from somewhere else. Was pretty heavy duty. Not those usuall weak flimsy looking plastic bins/drawers.
  12. I got him to do a spidey for me about 3 years back. And like half off what price should have been. That one sucky thing his prices have gone way up.
  13. Yup I have one sketch left to pickup to finish out my 2019 sketches. I mentioned before. Also Kevin was very easy to work with. Contacted him prior to show on fb. Gave him a few ideas to pick from and he picked lex. And got it done within 4 hrs.
  14. Kevin Conrad Lex Luthor Sketch I got done today:
  15. Randell thanks for something to look at. Any one have a clue on item I mentioned I saw in a Michaels classroom room earlier in week. That link item is cool. But like I mentioned I storing in my closet that is 4 feet deep and around 7 feet long.
  16. I wished I took a picture and asked a store person this. I was in a Michaels art supply store today. I noticed in there classroom room. There was this 4 or 5 unit heavy duty plastic store unit that had on a sliding track the drawers would pull out. And it was wider then comics. But definitely deep enough to store a good amount of comics. That would Def work for my space need lol. It was white plastic and the drawers where multi color drawers. I just forgot to ask store folks if that was something from Michaels or if they got it from another store and if so what store.
  17. If you got things professionally framed and what not. Only thing I would say to help also prevent light to fade things beyond keeping it out of direct light is to have those uv glass/museum glass in your frame.
  18. Ya I am trying to see if he can give me a peak at it before I pick up. But when I do get the sketch I will be posting it.
  19. Ya sucks when that goes down. And for me Ya I knew dude was busy with his summer con circuit, regular job, and home and family issues. Plus I gotten 2 other pieces from the guy. He hasn' screwed me over. Plus we only did part of payment upfront back half when I pick up. And like I said I gotten busy and he gotten busy. But we been in fair amount of communication. And I am hoping to get things set with him for next week.
  20. It sucks when an artist is a jerk or just plain rips folks off. Now sure I am a little more lenient if I know they are a busy artist and already have a line of commissions they are working on. Same if they are active in the biz at moment dealing with deadlines and commissions. Or if they have issues in real life going on. I am in that boat with a artist right now. We set up something back in April for a April show he wasn' able to get it finished before that show and so I said if he could have it ready in may for another show going to he be at be ok. May show came he was still tweaking sketch. But ironically left it at home. That con was local to him but then also from that point he got busy with summer con circuit, and real life issues with his home and wife. So we just haven't worked out getting it to me. Plus I been busy too. But I keep on him and we are working to get it to me.
  21. Well for me it depends on price per sketch type by x artist. Then more so if you have other artists you getting stuff at same time.
  22. Ya building shelf are out. Now a unit like that may work. Though like I said width wise closet is 4 feet deep and around 6/7ft wide. Plus I still need room to hang clothes in the closet.
  23. I just use the standard white normal comic boxes be it shorts or longs. My long ones seem to be totally fine. Even with the shorts stacked on top of them. It' just a couple of the shorts I noticed the lids seem to be getting a little crushed in. Now the books inside are totally fine. Which is why I asked my original question. As I don' have much room to store my comics. Just said closet. Which is like 4 feet deep and like 7 feet across. Like I said wish I had comic drawers or even filing cabinet system. But I don' have money and space for that. So was wondering of any other ways to go. With just normal comic boxes. But if any one had links to file cabinets, drawers or even some other type of storage units I Def be interested to check things out.
