My 1st and 2nd appearances. I used to have one more of each issue, but I gifted them to a fellow boardie about 8 or 9 years ago I think it was. I also thought I had more copies of #14, but I haven't located them as of yet, so this might be all I have.

Yeah, I know. It just seems lowly when looking at 9.6s and 9.8s.

It's not the prettiest, but it only cost ~$15. Long story short, found out a 'friend' stole a few Robotech books from me (around 1987) and I traded two other random Robotech issue he wanted for this and a Red Sonja 1. I think I came out on top.

My lowly 7.5, but at least I'm part of the club

I've recently started trying to bring some order to all of my books by cataloging them, and I knew I had a copy floating around somewhere. Surprise surprise, I actually bought 2 when it came out. I honestly don't remember buying two. What a nice surprise.

The last four stragglers of my submission finally made it back to me. Any guess as to which one is going to ebay first? And finally some redemption from my prior SME 15 submission that not only came back with CR/OW pages but also App. Slight(P) Not too bad on the last four I was waiting on.

I was rolling the dice on that issue hoping it was a 9.8 (it looked like it from the scan) and looks like it paid off. I'm curious how much I can get for it, though.

Thanks synch. And no, not rich (yet) especially with the bloodbath in the stock market lately. As to the cost of the books, they all came pretty cheap. The ASM 238 cost $15, the ASM 298 I bought new, DC Special Series was $25, Hulk 340 I bought new (along with 6 other copies, of which I have only graded one other that came back a 9.8 as this one should have too), Transformers were fairly cheap but I don't recall what I paid for them, Web of Spider-Man I bought a dozen copies when I was 13 for 15 cents each, Wolverine 1 bought new, and Wolverine Limited 1 was bought a set of 10 issues from the limited series for $80.
