  1. I'm assuming the hotflips version have all that advertising on them as shown in the picture on their website, so if you want the one like you posted an image of, you can get them from E.Gerber.

Thanks, definitely cheaper...which makes me suspect if this doesn't have the CGC logo on them. FYI I've had the boxes with and without and those without did feel of less quality. Does anyone know what kind eGerber has?

They have the logo, just like the picture you posted. I've ordered several from them.

    Awesome...Eureka! Thanks so much.

    You're quite welcome. (thumbs u

  3. Perhaps Number 15 may see its way to Ebay sometime soon? Before Christmas? :wishluck:
About a year ago I saw that someone had sold their NEC Newsletters 14, 15, and 16. I never did get nos. 15 and 16, was there a continuing story of The Tick in those issues?

hm For some reason I don't anticipate them hitting eBay.

    Nor do I..... (thumbs u

  4. Mine's an 8.0 WP. They are only "lowly" in comparison to 9.6./ 9.8 if you go to sell it. ;)

Otherwise, just possessing a TMNT #1 1st printing is an accomplishment. Congrats!

Thanks, and I agree. It definitely felt like an accomplishment when I bought it, which now that I think about it was around 10 years ago. Time flies.

  5. It's not the prettiest, but it only cost ~$15. Long story short, found out a 'friend' stole a few Robotech books from me (around 1987) and I traded two other random Robotech issue he wanted for this and a Red Sonja 1. I think I came out on top.

  6. I'm glad, I'm not the only one that does that..

Now if only I had done the same with BA 12......

    Maybe you did :baiting:

Keep on organizing your collection and see what else pops out.

That would be nice, but if my foggy recollection is to be trusted, I only ever bought the first couple of issues. Maybe I'm mistaken. Fingers crossed! :wishluck:

  7. The last four stragglers of my submission finally made it back to me. Any guess as to which one is going to ebay first? hm

And finally some redemption from my prior SME 15 submission that not only came back with CR/OW pages but also App. Slight(P)

Not too bad on the last four I was waiting on.

  8. dude amazing books! can I borrow you're credit card for a while cause like you must be rich to get all those at once :D

Thanks synch. And no, not rich (yet) especially with the bloodbath in the stock market lately. As to the cost of the books, they all came pretty cheap. The ASM 238 cost $15, the ASM 298 I bought new, DC Special Series was $25, Hulk 340 I bought new (along with 6 other copies, of which I have only graded one other that came back a 9.8 as this one should have too), Transformers were fairly cheap but I don't recall what I paid for them, Web of Spider-Man I bought a dozen copies when I was 13 for 15 cents each, Wolverine 1 bought new, and Wolverine Limited 1 was bought a set of 10 issues from the limited series for $80.
