Pro tip: It helps if you quote who you are responding to. WTTB
It was Twopiece.

And I agree with your stance on PGX vs CGC.

Maybe there is value to having this conversation due to PGX's continued growth despite their negative reputation? New people join the board all the time.

I'm exploring this topic for the first time.
Sharing my thoughts publicly. Hoping for some supportive evidence.
This guy seems super uptight. No clue why.

You can perform the research yourself.
Recently on eBay, Fantastic Four #52 in 9.0 has sold for $3,700 graded by PGX, and $6,300 graded by CGC.
Did you ask your peers to do your homework in K-12, too..?
To be fair, I don't think he is referring to equal grades.

Because welovecomics decides to be sponsored and have a biased opinion doesn't mean that is the overall thoughts of the community.
I can see how my comment might have given that impression. I just meant that the number of people who use and trust PGX is going to continue to grow.

Agree 100%.

My question is, 'Outside the esteem virtual halls of the CGC Chat rooms, does the comic collecting rabble discount the value of PGX grades?'
I'm seeing popular comic book channels being sponsored by, and promoting, PGX to people who don't know any better.

Dranzer.

Dang, I should have waited until now to post the meme.

I see a future where Dranzer is a word people throw out to let people know they have been here for awhile. Has that catch phrase kind of feel to it.
And the person responsible for it will probably never return to these boards. He will be a legend here and totally ignorant of it.

Has that middle aged man trying to sound "kewl" feel to it...like the guys who post tons of memes.
I admit, I haven't felt this kewl in a while. Moar Dranzer please.

Maybe an alternative to a custom title would be to make it a requirement to have a kudos/feedback link in order to buy and sell on these boards.
-
Less drive by posters; more Dranzers please.

I don't know whether to be flattered of offended.
Flattended? Offettered?
And I wonder how often people mistake reallllllly dry humor for autism...?
I suspect that answer is NOT "none."
Nah, not meant to be offensive. I've said before that I enjoy your debating.

How can people just send $8100 to some no feedback seller? Cray cray.

Can someone explain to me the thought process of these types of scams? Since the buyer is protected, how would a scammer benefit in this situation? Are the scammers just really dumb? Am I missing something?

I think that every thread the OP starts from now on should be titled: Dranzer. That would be epic. Guaranteed like from me every time.

Here is the sales thread I was referring to:

Ebay sounds like more hassle than it's worth after reading this thread.

I would try selling it here first. I saw an AF15 get posted here the other day, and it sold really fast.
For the love of PGX

I see your point. That makes sense. Sometimes, the obvious is missed.
