Unfortunately, the internet is rife with people who ask questions looking for an easy answer instead of doing the work themselves.  If they wanted to, they could take the data (as they've done) and present it in the format of a PSA.  At the end of the day it's "give a man fish vs teach a man to fish" type of thing.  Most of the time I'm inclined to give the quick easy answer.  But sometimes you just see one too many and have to help a person by teaching them to help themself.

I see your point. That makes sense. Sometimes, the obvious is missed.

You can perform the research yourself.

Recently on eBay, Fantastic Four #52 in 9.0 has sold for $3,700 graded by PGX, and $6,300 graded by CGC.

Did you ask your peers to do your homework in K-12, too..?

To be fair, I don't think he is referring to equal grades.

Because welovecomics decides to be sponsored and have a biased opinion doesn't mean that is the overall thoughts of the community.

I can see how my comment might have given that impression. I just meant that the number of people who use and trust PGX is going to continue to grow.

I get doing your own thing but going out of your way to go against the tide when there's a flood doesn't mean you are helping anyone and its only contributing to unethical practices.

    Agree 100%.

My question is, 'Outside the esteem virtual halls of the CGC Chat rooms, does the comic collecting rabble discount the value of PGX grades?'

I'm seeing popular comic book channels being sponsored by, and promoting, PGX to people who don't know any better.

I see a future where Dranzer is a word people throw out to let people know they have been here for awhile.  Has that catch phrase kind of feel to it.

And the person responsible for it will probably never return to these boards. He will be a legend here and totally ignorant of it.

I don't know whether to be flattered of offended.

    Flattended? Offettered?

And I wonder how often people mistake reallllllly dry humor for autism...?

I suspect that answer is NOT "none."

    hm

Nah, not meant to be offensive. I've said before that I enjoy your debating.
