  1. I noticed on graded copies I have seen, there is no mention of reign being wolverines daughter.  Is that because you know she is not the daughter of wolverine, or it simply hasn't been stated in the comic yet?

  2. no photos, I was just wondering. It seem like if there is anything wrong with a corner, even the slightest bit, it automatically knocks you down to a 9.4, 9.2. range. I was wondering what they consider a top staple separated from the cover. Does that automatically kick you down to a 7 or 6 even?

  3. IF I SENT THAT IN TO BE GRADED, IT WOULD PROBABLY BE A 9.2 9.4. HOWEVER SOME BOOKS DO SLIP THROUGH AT A 9.6 9.8, I OWN SOME. I HAVE SOME 9,8S THAT SHOW NO VISIBLE FLAWS WITH A FLASHLIGHT SHINED ACROSS THE FRONT AND BACK IN THE DARK. I ALSO HAVE SOME 98S WITH MULTIPLE NON COLOR BREAKING TICKS IN THE SPINE. IT IS WHAT IT IS I GUESS. THESE ARE HUMAN BEINGS DOING THE GRADING, THAT IS WHY THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THE AVERAGE OF 3 GRADES. SOMETIMES THINGS SLIP BY DUE TO HUMAN ERROR. HOWEVER, I THINK CGC HAS  THE MOST CONSISTENT GRADING. AT THE END OF THE DAY, A SEALED CGC 9.8 IS A SEALED 9.8. I'D TAKE IT.

  4. I HAD A GUY PRESS A SWAMP THING 1.  HE PUT IT IN A HUMIDOR AND THE CONDENSATION DRIPPED ON THE BOOK. IT LEFT A WATER STAIN ON THE INSIDE FRONT COVER AT THE TOP. IT WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF 2 QUARTERS SIDE BY SIDE. I HAD IT GRADED AND IT CAME BACK A 6.5. GRADING NOTES MENTIONED THE STAIN. I WAS WONDERING HOW MANY POINTS IT LOST BECAUSE OF THE STAIN. IT ALSO NOTED A SMALL TEAR ON THE BACK COVER AND A SMALL CREASE

Not being sarcastic, I am just amazed that the revelation of Alfred's last name conjures any sort of extra notation from Overstreet, CGC or anywhere else.

Mercury Man, you cannot have a complete Batman collection without a copy of the issue where Alfred's last name is changed! The mere thought of such a thing! OH the HORROR!
