Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I always tended to check ebay sold listings for comics I was trying to price as a good gauge. But, that CGC one will be immensely helpful!

I see occasionally people post information on sales and how they know they are selling below the standard, etc for a given comic book. What tool, site, etc does everyone use? It would be great to know and possibly be able to use that system so I can fairly price my comics.

Hello Everyone, I figured I would set up a Kudos Thread for my interactions with everyone on here whether buying or selling. Shout out to: Davedawgbg: I purchased his Spiderman collection and he was easy to work with and packaged the comics excellently. They were shipped to my house, which is practically across the country, in just a few days. He even said if he finds anymore spiderman comics that he will continue to send them to me, included in the price I already paid which is something you don't find to often. He has in a way, been my unofficial CGC Comics Forum mentor, showing me the ropes with intros, kudos, etc. I would definitely purchase from him again! Aw damn, I messed it up haha

So my wife hates white long boxes. She absolutely despises them. One nice thing is that companies have started printing images on them to make them less dull and more display worthy. But sadly, minus balancing a CGC comic on a shelf, has anyone figured out a nice way to display them? Of course, out of direct sunlight. But, it would be nice to actually see more of them. I thought about a type of slide rack system you could have on the wall to slide them in and out of, but I don't see anything like that. How do you guys display some of your favorites? Secondly, Does anyone store their comics anyway other than the boxes? I thought about getting a filing cabinet but they are a tad wide and not comic shaped. Whereas the box filing cabinets are of course, plain white... Any suggestions?

Hello, I joined yesterday and already purchased something from davedawbgb. He recommended I come introduce myself here. So I am an avid comic book fan as I assume all of you are. My main Fandom is Amazing Spiderman and I am one of many guys trying to own the entire run of Amazing Spiderman. I grew up loving Marvel comics and it is my main comic love, but Green Lantern (mainly due to Geoff Johns) is another favorite. DC comics I am a fan of Green Lantern, Flash, Swamp Thing, and Wonder Woman. Marvel is Amazing Spiderman, followed by other Spider people, followed by everyone else. As far as other comics I am a huge Brian K. Vaughn fan. I own Y the Last Man #1 at 9.6 and Saga #1 at 9.8 so they are big key pieces to my collection. Past your normal Superhero comics at Marvel and DC, I love Image. My wife and I read a lot of it in waves. She is a huge Red Sonja fan, buying almost everything she finds associated with it. Outside of comics, I am a Site Reliability Engineer at Microsoft residing in beautiful Washington State. I am prior military and was sent out here by them as I am originally from the East Coast.
