  1. Avengers #92 is cover month dated Sept/1971 and Avengers#93 is November/1971 which is impossible seeing their indicias state published MONTHLY inside, but it some how happened and its history. Based on this interesting fact this means Avengers #93 should NOT have been the first published Picture frame Avengers book and Avengers #94 would have been if this Marvel blunder would NOT have occurred. Very interesting indeed!

  2. Marvel 1971 52 pagers of the early bronze age ushered in the beggining of the first Marvel Picture frame books a chat board member pointed out to me and he is right on. 52 pager Marvel square bounders with picture frame covers are killer books. I hope an Avengers 93 in CGC 9.8 someday shows up out there that would be a beyond nice! picture frame Marvel key book to own and be worth huge $$$ as well (smile).

  3. Sabrina the Teen-age Witch 1st appr. is Archies Mad House #22 and is known to exist as a 15c Test market price Variant which is beyond cool. Sabrina is HUGE in the Archie comic world and to the collecting world in general. Sabrina even has a TV show. That book in any grade should be worth a lot of $$$ in the near future I predict.

    Try and find one.

  4. Here is B&V #77 with a sci-fi/horror cover. Out of all the B&V 15c price Variant issues out there to be found this is the best sci-fi/horror cover I believe. The 15c Variant and regular 12c edition are seen below. There are 106 of these type Archie Variants out there to be found. These Archie Variants are 100% the same as Marvel 30c and 35c Variants in every way but much scarcer. The majority of collectors and dealers out there have never seen these price Variants. They are all out there to be found. Happy hunting!

  5. Here is Betty and Veronica #75 15c price Variant edition( 12c editions guide for $325.00) Try and find one of these 15 centers from 1962-63. Happy hunting folks. They appear many times harder to find than even Marvel 35c Variants. The survival rate on them is extremely low out there.

  6. Archies Mad House #22 1st appr. of Sabrina the Teen-age Witch 15c cover price Variant. One was found just recently and is confirmed to exist. Hard to believe the 15c cover price edition of Archies Mad House #22 went undetected in the hobby for 48 years! until now.

  7. There is an Iron Fist #14 35c price variant on Pedigree comics in GD+ 2.5 grade with a sale currently pending at $575.00!!!. Thats over 8X guide price in GD+ grade(smile) clap clap clap------beat the drums!

  8. These 15 cent variant cover prices on the Archies and Tarzan are NOT Canadian editions in my opinion. My Archie Laugh #144 stated 12c per copy inside on the first page! but had a 15 cent cover price on it. Its 100% the way SAME way Marvel variants appeared with 30c on the cover and 25c per copy stated on the first page inside them. They were definetley were test marketing the 15c cover price and imagine how few they printed? People who worked for achie publications back then know the answer!
