  1. Finally learned how to edit my scans,(thats just great)1st year is over. Hello, I have really enjoyed being here at C.S, some of you know when I joined I wasn't good at all on a PC (read bio) there were many times I wanted to upload my graded comics, but didn't know how to edit, or where to start, but now I know. As my 1st year ends, I just want to leave a few photo scans of my recent grades.
  2. My pockets were empty (Good thing I left my ATM card at home). A fews months ago I went to the comic/con at Charlotte NC Convention Center, and I had a great time,(it was my 1st comic/con) the only problem was I ran out of money to soon or maybe, that was a good thing. Well here are some of the books graded 9.8's...Batman and Robin reborn #1 Sketch Cover(the price of this book emptied my pockets).... Batman and Robin reborn #1 Variant Cover...Wolverine #1/2 Wizard Blue Foil Edition...Transformers:Infiltraion #0 Gold.... Red Sonja #7 Red foil,Will Conrad cover....Ultimate Origins #1 Turner Cover... I have a few more books from the comic/con that I havn't had graded yet. Well thats it for now..Happy collecting!!
  3. Three 9.8's out of 5 books. Hello, well my books finally arrived and my 9.8's were ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL#7 VARIANT WRAPAROUND COVER, AMAZING SPIDERMAN #568 SKETCH,and RED SONJA #6 RED FOIL....PROJECT SUPERPOWERS #5 NEGATIVE COVER SCORED 9.6, AND ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN #112 WHITECOVER VARIANT WAS 9.4. The grades were OK but the long wait was not. Before I end this journal I like to thank those of you that offered kind words of wisdom. Thanks "nuff said"
  4. Project Superpowers I like to say hello, and I didn't get to add and finish the Project Superpowers set,(if you read my last journal you know why.) by the way my set did received a green ribbon. I guess you don't really have to complete a set..lucky me huh. I will be better prepared when I start my 2nd year next month... Well until next time happy collecting.
  5. May no more Hello, just checking in. I was really looking forward to telling you all about my complete Project Superpowers collection that would have been my competive set but, I guess I didn't submit my books soon enough, CGC received them in May and the books have not been shipped/safe yet. I am so used to books being graded and returned in 25-28 days I guess I'm in shock right now. I had never submitted any books in May before, one reason because this is my first year. Can someone tell me if May is a bad time to submit your books. THANKS for your HELP.
  6. From single to sets Hello, Since I joined I've been sending in all kinds of variants to be graded, sketch, negative & foil, 1 in 50, 1 in 100 etc. If it has a different cover, by a certain artist I would buy it. There are only a few CGC graded books I own, that will be able to complete a set, Project Superpowers is one. Now for Example Battlestar Galactica :Season Zero #1 negative graded 9.8, I own it, but that's the only Season Zero I got. Single issues are not any good if there's not any slots to place it in to get points. I own ultimate spider-man #2(Jae Lee)& #5 both graded 9.8, they help with points and that's it. Guess I will try to sell some of my single 9.8's and 9.6 variants. I don't have enough to make some sets with anyway. I will keep the one's I can build a set around maybe. Until next time .

  9. Wow what a wait... Hello, I finally shipped my 1st group of comics to CGC ... the waiting is tough. I know CGC received them, but I'm not sure what condition they are in. I shipped them the same week of the storm. A minor storm .... yeah Right, hearts out to the familys. There were 10 sent in for grade, not in any order this time. Civil War Turner sket #1 , Wolverine old man #66, Battlestar Galatica zero #1, just to name a few , 'said nuff' Well until next time.
  10. I hadn't been in a comic book store, it seem like ages, until the other month. I saw several books that caught my eye and I had to have them. Now I'm back collecting not in the same style I once did. Want to say hello to you all. I'm glad to be on the site were comic enthusiast gather. I am still figuring out what comics I'm going to send CGC for grade, will it be sets, runs, or mixed that is the question, but gotta start some were.
