  1. Finally after all this time i decided to get it graded, i sent it through the uk site and paid for a press and clean, the books not arrived back yet but i was staggered to learn it got a grade of 7.5 after pressing .I'll post an image when i get the book back but thanks to everyone who suggested getting it graded
  2. wow thanks for the response , amazing how people give there time to newbies like me , i wish i had the expertise to give back but i inherited my collection and therefore have not grown up with comics and i think that's how you learn most of the time.i have attached the back cover which i think is in pretty decent condition. i was looking to use CGC pressing services when i submit for a grade , do they do a decent job
  3. Hi I am looking to grade my GSXM 1 but the staples on this comic are misaligned and behind the front cover .I think this is normal for this comic but .Would they be able to press this cover and does anyone think it would benefit anyway.
  4. thanks everyone , i know little about grading but i tend to agree with the lower grades only because i have looked at some 6 and 7 grades and some of them look better than mine. it does have nice eye appeal and would probably look good when slabbed so i will send it off and update the post with the actual grade. Thanks jeffro for the cgc uk site info
  5. Hi thanks for the comments , i am unless at uploading files etc and it would only let me upload 1 picture.I am going to put more thought into it and try again. apart from bottom of spine there are no other cuts or tears ,pages all intact although 1st page seems to have some ink transfer from back of front cover.
  6. hi , just thought i would share my sketch by tyler jenkins from back in the PP days, great story ,was even talk that it would go into production.
  7. Hi There folks , just wondering if it is worth sending my Giant size x-men to be graded.i live in the uk so it will cost a bit more , around $150 incl postage, press etc. I think i got a good deal a year ago when i paid £400 for it. Haven't got a clue what grade it might get but depending on your comments it might help me to decide Most of the defects seem to be around the edges ,particularly the bottom, front and back cover looks really nice, all pages intact and staples seem in really good condition.
