  1. shush blob, he's on a roll and the masses are eating it up.
  2. the end of the run was announced later and tanked the book. the 9.9 auction sub-title says it all. "the next walking dead?" is what people are chasing with all these Image books. If and when that gets taken off the table for any of them, implosion occurs. ToT is the "next walking dead", if there is one. Revival is a good story, and its variants or ultra high CGCs will sell well. The main books are stalled hard, due to huge print run, and over abundance on ebay. Huge print run? If everyone in my small town got one, there would be none left for the rest of the world.
  3. stop it halo, we are talking Larry's picks here, not books selling on ebay.
  4. my 5 year old daughter loves your work and always wants me to take down her books to look at them. She wants me to keep them stored with my art. You are ok in my book Dave even with differing opinions
  5. but you think all those junky 1k byrne commissions are the bee's knees. And don't you think Barry Kitson is the best ever? And I think Mike Allred is the greatest...you keep on with the Kitson's, Dave can keep loving Byrne and then everyone is good. No need to knock someone elses tastes - we all see art differently. Kitson is no where near the best ever and I wasn't knocking tastes. I was voicing my opinion that I haven't seen a good byrne commission since about 1988. If you don't agree with me fine.
  6. I love John Byrne, the 1980's version of him. It's just funny i say something and you are posting it all over the place, you say something negative about steranko and it's cool
  7. but you think all those junky 1k byrne commissions are the bee's knees.
  8. I wouldn't go that far, Rachel is very well done.
  9. if anyone buys a TON of that issue, they are fools with money to burn, just sayin...
  10. Pictures of nude ladies signed and encased in plastic and here. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5960524#Post5960524
  11. I don't think we have a picture of Larry. However, I do believe we have one for a certain Mr. Carpenter. larry's mug is all over his website.
  12. Can't wait to see what you have in store for larryscomics and nerfherder.
  13. They are probably confused. There should be 2 regular covers 50/50. 1 by the artist and the Robot Chicken cover. In addition there is a 1:25 BW variant of the artist version that was announced at the same time as the RC cover. They probably have them confused and think the RC cover is 1:25. Or they are just They know they are 1:10, they are calling them special 1:10's
  14. I got $75 for one of mine yesterday.
  15. I dont think it is. A buddy of mine submitted Modern Fast-Track and is on business day 13 already still not graded...that's not good... they don't count con weekends or in the case of chicago con weeks.
  16. I prefer that they use plastic wrap to seal a piece of cardboard to each side of the book b/c some jerks (who are angry that I made a request about how the book is shipped) will use so much tape that I've had to cut comics out of their bag with an exacto knife and when they tape too much and use an already bent piece of cardboard the comic bends where the cardboard is bent which is just as bad as damage from shifting and sometimes worse. It's a shame that we can't get people who know how to pack books or even who care enough to follow directions to yea sellers are jerks for not packaging exactly how you want. You two have way too much time on your hands.
