Yeah, that's a nice page...looks older than '89. Really like the bottom left panel!
Yep, that's a classic pulp Shadow panel!
I really dig the "Hahahahahahaha" Shadow laughter lettering

Art by A.C. HOLLINGSWORTH for the SCORCHY SMITH Sunday page newspaper comic strip published on June 20, 1954. This strip was syndicated by AP Newsfeatures.
Hart1000, that 1st panel of Scorchy Smith is great. Nice detail!
Thanks Grinder for the compliment on the Scorchy Smith page.
I received this yesterday. It's a page from DC's 'Day of Vengeance' #6, page 1.

I highly doubt that these drawings were done by Kirby, Severin or Wood, unless they had just spent hours drinking at the office happy hour.
Don't forget...they were also dancing on the tables with lamp shades on their heads! Boy that Kirby knew how to throw a party!
Those "stamps" look fishy to me...Dr. Doom looks like he's on crack!

Well . . . I did hear he's partial to smoking the odd spliff . . .
Terry!!!! Guess what I found in my attic!!! The first Dr. Doom prototype stamp!!! WOW what a find...I think I'll put it on ebay!
