  1. These are the non FF I have... The Spider man books are quite nice... Star Wars and Howard went out with the Panther for pressing and slabbing too... I bought the EC to mount on the wall but never got around to it. Im sure those two funky X Men were the last my brother ever purschased... This was a Christmas present to my brother now its back with me again.
  2. I am not trying to assert authenticity. Its just something I found while checking the books I inherited for inside damage.
  3. I followed the CGC pricing guidelines here based on my estimates of fair market value. Im not really worried about it so no one else needs to. After all, I got all the books for free...
  4. Ff 52 and Howard the Duck 1 and Star Wars 1 i send in for pressing and grading. Not cheap. It would probably cost 30000 to do them all haha. The panther was 500 bucks not including ridiculous postal insurance sending it in... Yes most of the books are 9.0 or better but thats just my opinion...
  5. Too many to post... Yes there only about 25 books below 50 but 50 to 100 has all He never did get a 48 that was too expensive for a kid in the 70's
  6. My brother was an anti pack rat and wanted desperately to dump the books . He tried like 4 times bringing to stores throughout the years and it was always the same penny on the dollar answer. That 500 buck attempt was the last one in Pasadena about ten years ago. He got frustrated and gave up. I got rid of all mine a long time ago like X Men 5 to 150 plus some other cherries. I gave him a few of my last books to add to his. Anything that didn't fit in a half box went into the garbage or was given away... like FF 101 to like 231 all dumped. Only the under 100 and John Byrne books got saved. Im glad he saved them.
  7. He posted he was looking for the book and I had one. I should have just kept my mouth shut. I dont even have a PayPal account and got no idea how to go about selling anything except maybe in person.
  8. It was me and everything i said was true. Am I happy with dealers? not really after all one did offer 500 bucks in store credit only for FF 13 to 100 plus a bunch of other stuff, not even a penny on the dollar! That being said im sorry if i offended you. I think dealers are great as a source to buy books but when it comes time to sell... ohh boy! Im on these boards because i sent 3 books to get slabbed for the first time, they will probably just be wall art for me. I am not really a collector since 1982 I am just trying to take care of the ones my brother left me. Yes I just bought new mylar for the books because all they had was 35 year old bags and boards...
  9. Only other signature book i got is this and i was watching when he did it in like 1979...
  10. Structurally the book is solid and unmolested. Regardless of any problems with it it could look great with minor cleaning, Finding the the Kirby signature was like finding spanish dubloons it shocked me! Not everything is about selling...
  11. That 49 was so good until i opened it and found this... Sad... but i also find in another book this!!! Balance is returned to the universe!
  12. The book looks dingy and deserves cleaning and pressing but how could i ever slab it? I cant...
  13. I inherited from my brother and looking for nasty surprises (thankfully few) and... Lol
  14. What grades do you think these will fetch with pressing?
