  1. Thanks Tony! I am in no way a pro, I have been collecting all my life but got into the certification/signature/comic con scene about 10 years ago. I have always preferred cgc over the others because (mostly) they are helpful and easy to work with at the cons. If they had recommended a press I would have done it ( I definitely will moving forward) I do not sell my books, they are for my personal enjoyment/collection so the grade is not sooo important. I guess my issue is how far it fell 9.4 - 8.5 kinda felt like getting kicked in the nuts when i first saw it!
  2. Went to a con at the end of last year, had infinity gauntlet #1 signed by 3 people and CGCed .I got my book back at 9.4 Sent the same book in for the private signing with Perez , Did not request pressing as it was a 9.4 and I already have it pressed at the end of last year. Just got confirmation that the book was finalized and shiped so I checked the grade and it went down to 8.5 !!!!!! I called CGC and spoke to 2 different customer service reps who essentially said too bad so sad!! Then said that the artist must’ve damaged the book so instead of apologizing or whatever or telling me to send it back in when I got it and they will re-press for free to keep me A loyal customer they blame Jorge Perez.. I was planning on sending 4 more slabed comics in for the private signings but at this point I don’t trust CGC to handle my books correctly or if something does happen make it right
