  1. "The system is not allowing me to add any new comics at all to any set, established or custom. That's where I am getting the error." Correction... if it is an established competitive set, I can add. I cannot add to any other.
  2. Thank you for that, but that isn't the issue that I am having. I already have custom sets established. The system is not allowing me to add any new comics at all to any set, established or custom. That's where I am getting the error. I have a stack of comics that I need to add to the database and my sets, and as the pile grows my wife is getting more suspicious and angry, so any help would be fantastic!
  3. How's it going? It's been a hot minute...
  4. I am unable to add any new books to my sets at all, custom or otherwise. Keep getting this error message directly after the saving a book: "An error occurred during your last request. The error was logged and will be reported to the webmaster automatically. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience. " Unsure if you were aware as to yet but I've seen others report on it happening a few weeks now.

  6. Hey gang... trying to do some inventory cleanup on my end here and add my newest acquisitions. Keep getting the same message that there is an "ERROR" and that it has been reported to "IT." It's been days now, and from what I see, others had this same issue two weeks ago. Any status update, or any workarounds or fixes? Thanks! - daffaholic
  7. Yeah, not a concern whatsoever, because I understand the possible human element of error, especially with regards to handling and grading hundreds upon hundreds of items a day. I never fear their ability to fix the issue either, as I have over 20+ years of experience working with CGC and their phenomenal (and often unsung) customer service division... they've never done me dirty, and have gone above and beyond in helping with any and all issues I've encountered. For the record, this book ultimately was entered on the Census (thank you to all who showed me how to do it and explain it like I was 4... :), it was also sent back as a reholder, came back in perfect condition, and is proudly displayed. Thank you all for your help here! - Bob P.S. - Mike... I STILL don't have my award listed with my account, though! I'm just going to have to win again I guess!
  8. Afternoon! Sorry for the delay… finally got around to trying to get a few good photos. Really tough with the glare… but they are everywhere. Reached out to Kayla S. about it who suggested sending it in as an ME or Re holder… but the cert number is not in the registry (I assume none of the awarded slabs are). so… I couldn’t send it in that way if I tried! as for photos:
  9. Ok... I'm NOT losing it, thankfully... Awards doesn't show as an option for me at all. And dude, thank YOU! Some of your work and help is what pushed me to finally "make the set presentable!"
  10. Quick one, gents... two, actually. 1) Still cannot find anywhere where I can see or print my Certificate for winning the Registry Award. I can be completely missing it... but I don't think so. 2) Award package came in. Absolutely awesome! Not going to complain about the broken chip out of the corner of the plaque... it's probably poetic that way! However, the slab came in with an absolute TON of dirt and fingerprints on the inside of it. Again... maybe an ironic situation... especially with the amount of people who complain about the smallest and silliest things on Facebook! Since I cannot even look up the cert number (for some reason), I was wondering if there was anything I could do about having it sent back as an ME and corrected? Maybe the stupidest question... but I figured it was worth asking this group specifically. Thanks... and, truly, thank you again for recognizing my set! - Bob
  11. First, thank you again! Secondly, HOW HAVE YOU GONE THIS LONG WITHOUT EVER SEEING IT? Finally, go out and buy the series RIGHT NOW! You will be forever happy with the purchase!
  12. Great work! As for me, I was gunning for "Best Custom" or "Best Signature" myself this year (after years of never really ever knowing HOW one gets recognized or the work involved, and then receiving a crash course in HOW-TOs about a week or two before the deadline this year)... and ended up winning "Best Presentation." So, take this from the new (old... on the registry for 20+ years now) guy on the block and with a grain of salt. It seems that they winners and even those recognized all seem to have a particular focus or theme. There seems to be a constant in the winners, so maybe the diversity and vastness of your set is working against it? Just my thought quick on it, but well done! I am slowly working all of my books in, and really need to overhaul my original sets of years ago and re-link books to them. Just need to tackle that. In the meantime, I have already begun adding to and upgrading my set that DID win this year (thank you all again for all of your help to get me there)... and I'm excited to bust out, what I consider, a more impressive different subset for next year's awards!
  13. Thank you! I’m sure it’s clunkier than some others (haven’t thought about html code in forever), and I started building it a week ago… but truly, you were a major help!!!
  14. I already thanked Adamantium and Iconic1s in another thread, but everyone on this one (especially those two) pointed me in the directions I needed to finally tackle this! I jumped on working to edit one of my custom sets that I'd love to have them recognize. SUPER addictive, and I had to dust off some VERY old coding knowledge to put together what I have so far. I'm sure I'll tweak it a million times, and that my code is over complicated, but it isn't bad for a first attempt at "making them look pretty!" Only going to have time to work on the one Custom Set heading into the final week... I'll need to tackle the MCU one for next year (while adding to this one still)! Please humor me and take a look at My Custom Set that I hope they also notice, and truly... thanks again! https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicCustomSetView.aspx?s=32040

  16. Thank you! Again, first attempt at making the set more “presentable,” but I thought tying it in to the cartoons and episode title cards was a must!
  17. Thanks! With the help of replies like yours an some others, I jumped on working to edit one of my custom sets that I'd love to have them recognize. Working on editing only this one set, so very late in the game, is the only time that i am going to have for this year's awards, unfortunately... but now I have a MUCH better idea of what to do for next year. Take a look, and thanks again! https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicCustomSetView.aspx?s=32040

  19. THANK YOU! Now, to get to work on it! May be too late for this year. Truly, thanks.
  20. So, my question last year is my question this year... how? How do you get your sets noticed? The Moon Knight collection that won last year was not that impressive... however, his presentation was. It's phenomenal! How do you do what he did, as I didn't know that we could do images and code the way he seemed to in his description. As an almost strictly Signature Series collector for a long time now, I have two custom sets that I just haven't seen others with, that I would put up against any other modern. However, it doesn't matter if no one sees it or knows about. "Tree falls in the woods" sort of thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  22. I may be missing it, but is it possible to have a strict Signature Series Only set for registry purposes (and to be eligible for the Registry Award? Thanks! - daffaholic
