I think I know what uoure talking about. Joe lived in a few houses and I always get the timeline mixed up of when he lived where. I’ll see if my dad can remember, usually his memory of Joe and Jack are good but the house number he never really paid attention to

Unfortunately my dad doesn’t remember the exact address besides brown street. If you have Kirby’s exact address or some photos of the houses you think it might be, I can show it to him and see if he is able to recognize it.

I saw the science comics posted and as I learned more and more about Joe’s career I really grew to appreciate the comics! They’re so darn expensive tho! but never less Bill gave me a call and it was nice chatting about it. He even offered to give me a 6 month time payment plan. But I simply couldn’t commit at this time. Just splurged on some of Joe’s timely put me in a position where I didn’t want to make any commitments. But I do appreciate Bill willing to offer me that! but I am slowly buying Joe’s comics and art back. It’s not cheap but atleast I started collecting young! Joe only spent roughly 1 year after he found out Goodman was cheating him of his Royalties. Joe has 2 sons, 5 children. Only one of his children is involved worh comic history. (That’s my father Jim Simon) who worked closely with Joe to document the golden age! My dad used to sit in the studio and watch Joe and Jack smoke cigars, draw and create! I am unsure of which granddaughter you met but I am the only grandchild with the Simon last name. If I had to bet, you either met Megan or Emily. They’re cousins and both have 1 brother.

I am stating that the Speed Comic's cover is by Joe Simon ONLY. That is what I wrote. I am TIRED of "fans" that think they know the business and what went on changing things to there liking. Because they like kirby, everything kirby touched. Just like years ago, people LOVED stan lee and said he did evrything, wrote all the stories, no people no longer say that. I am also tired of people saying Joe Simon couldnt draw. Just like shown in the Adventure is my carrer, that statement in false. Even Stan lee said Joe taught jack alot about drawing and Joe drew as much as jack for those books!

This comic's cover is by Joe Simon. AND JOE SIMON ONLY. Jack was not involved. Simon and Kirby did alot of stuff together. However this is not one of them. This is by Joe Simon. Not by Jack. Whether its intentional or not, many fans and even "experts" (notice the quotations) are trying to give credit to people they favor. A big one is Jack Kirby. Just how back in the days everyone credited Stan lee with Everything. Now this is not the case. During the Simon and KIrby teaming, BOTH MEN PENCILED. It wasnt just JAck, however, jack did do the majority. BOTH MEN INKED. Howver Joe did the majority. Just because you are a Kirby fan dosent mean he did everything. If a piece of art was done by Simon and Kirby, most people will only credit Jack. Sometimes Joe if your lucky. And people will actually insit that they only see Jack Kirby in the art. But thats not the case. Its by Joe and Jack. However if a piece of art is by Joe SImon and Joe Simon alone, People will try to force on and say, well Jack did this and that hand looked like jack and whatever. Its just not the case. People are so willing just to give credit to people they like and not willing to give credit to people who actually should get credit. Another thing, Simon and kirby is SIMON AND KIRBY. not Kirby and Simon, not Jack and JOe not Jack Kirby. Its JOe SImon and Jack Kirby and its SImon and Kirby. Both men aggred that their names be in that order and thats how they always signed. STOP TRYING TO CHANGE HISTORY

Totally agree. he was a huge creative force behind timely. He had the orginal idea for Captain America and thats the Comic/Character that REALLY put Timely in the game with Fox, Dc, Archie and more. Super under appreciated!
