New to boards. Gi joe comics was the beginning of the hook for me. Just so happen to fall into baseball card shops that carried comics too. My first years started right as wolverine and punisher began their own titles. The violence of those comics was part of the allure. Taste has changed now to understand the human archetypes of the character.....but love the art(and senseless violence too.). Board is great. Plan to ask many questions.

Thanks guys. I did pick up the af15. I called CL today and they were surprisingly helpful. Cool too. As for being new to the boards, this is a great resource. I tend to do a fair amount of research, but pulled the trigger quickly on this one, just making sure I didn’t make a mistake.....although this ones going on the wall forever.... can’t wait to converse more on next purchase.....kinda want a batman 227. I’ve not been accustom to dc in my humble collection.

I’m the new guy that picked up the af15 3.0 on CL. I was thinking i got a fair deal. I too was surprised by the 5 and 3.5. I was also the guy who pished the price on the 3.5 to 20k something.....it could have gone for less. Imho, i dont think there were bidders.......... i’ll send picks when i recv the book. Still a little sad I didn’t het the 3.5. But 3 looks nice. Hate the tape, but you guys think its a fair deal? Btw, i dont intend on ever selling anyway. Its the best of my small collection.

Hey guys, new to the boards. I recently won an aution on comiclink. Surprisingly, during checkout, i am currently being charged the 3% sales fee. Not sure if this is common. I have been use to paying a “stupid tax” for not reading fine print, just want to make sure its my bad again and not something i should content. Its a whipper of a buy, so 3% is 500 bones.
