  1. Yes, the seller allows returns and the book is on the way back as we speak. If the damage was caused by CGC after grading and during slabbing, that would be unfortunate. Do those things happen a lot?
  2. That's what I thought. It's definitely going back. Looks to be a legit CGC book though. I think the grader was just being generous with the 9.8s that day!
  3. Maybe my initial post wasn't concise. I purchased the above book on ebay with a 9.8 grade (expecting it be pretty flawless). To my dismay, it had the flaws shown in the photos above. There appears to be some ink in places where there shouldn't be. This may be a manufacturing defect, so it may not affect the grade, correct? The other ones I would think would knock the grade down a bit (bent corner and gash in the lower rear cover). Would you agree that this book shouldn't be a 9.8? Or am I missing something? Thanks!
