The other thing to check is whether the buyer is still a participant in the PM, if they have removed themselves from the thread the PM will show as unread by none as soon as you send it. Check the My Message page to confirm they are still a listed participant.

I don't want to jump the gun - I see what a mess is going on with one of the sale threads- but can some one answer me a question ?
How long after someone has recieved books , should I expect payment ?
The board memeber told me they would paypal me. Books have been there several days (per return mail receipt) with no payment or response to PM (though they have been marked as read).
The buyer is a long time board member- and appears to be well respected (which is why I shipped before payment.)
Thanks, and if I am jumping the gun just tell me to cool down
As a new seller on the baord selling to an established member, it seems reasonable to agree to send books before payment.
How long has it been since the books were received?

Just the heads up that gilbertorres was not able to complete a transaction by established and extended timeframes, and as to not drag it out we have cancelled the transaction. I am not suggesting he be added to the Probation List, however as I know he conducts many of his purchases through PMs I just wanted to make people aware in case he starts to get overextended again.
I will note that he is a good guy and I have a few completed
transactions with him that were trouble-free, the purpose of this post is to help him not over commit, and I think he gets the point.Carry on! (thumbs u

Counting Crows in a few weeks with Maroon 5. The Crows are probably my favorite live band. Adam is so disfunctional and the songs are super-heartfelt but when they need to rock, they can, better than most.
One of my favorite shows was Counting Crows on Halloween about 5-6 years ago at the Orpheum in Boston, Adam was dressed in a pink bunny suit the whole show and must have been broiling, another bandmate was dressed as the Beefeater guy, and another was dressed as a girl I believe. Fun show!

The unsolds from my last couple threads will be re-offered at insane Crazy Eddie (pre-jail) prices!!!
Prices will be drastically reduced until the book sells or until I'm humiliated.
Why? Because I've been workin my azz off for the last 2 weeks and will be traveling for the next 2 weeks workin my azz off some more.
So I've had some wine, and Stella is in good hands.....And I have a few hours to kill and I can either watch DVR copies of Last Comic Standing or Next Food Network Star or screw with my boardie homies. The decision is clear.
New stuff might be offered if I gather the energy to go downstairs and scan.....but that seems unlikely.
That might be the lamest Kudos ever.
Well, maybe not as bad as my lack of Kudos, I owe a few and will compile a list soon!

Now that is my idea of hunting, hand to hand combat with a prey that can hold it's own. The guy with the gun, I am not so impressed with his skills.
Poor bahstard, the lion already has spear through him, gets tackled by a Gracie trained grappler and has someone about to pump him full of lead.
