  1. With deleted posts this thread is like a Tootsie pop with no center.
  2. In before Arch comes up with a killer ban message for everyone who is getting banned today. Fingers crossed, no erasies, double stamped it, crossies don't count! Buzz off, hippie, the points are mine.
  3. Screenshot ? Dice....I didn't threaten you.....YOU have been calling me profane names in your messages, they can be read when responding. I said that if you would like to continue calling me pronfanity....that I will be in San Diego. That is far from a threat...... You make my point for me...internet thug calling people nasty names, then when confronted...."waw waw stop thretening me" . I di not threaten you in any way, shape , or form . I offered you an opportunity to be man and talk to me in person in San Diego if you feel so strongly about this ? is this a threat ? NO . Screenshot? I believe they are posts in this PM that the filters cleaned up, not PMs.
  4. No worries, beer and sweet potato fries on Saturday! before or after the show?? Yes!
  5. Just a $500 difference, that's all even with a $500.00 difference Is it not possible that who ever bought or buys the book may believe it to be higher OR lower than the CGC grade of 8.5? I mean come on how many of us have bought a PGX book cracked it out and submitted it to CGC and a different grade higher or lower comes back. Just using that to make a point that grading is very subjuctive and if you asked 20 different people to look at the book in hand I would say you would get a range of 8.0-9.2. I understand that there is a big difference in price. However, if the buyer or potenial buyer agrees with the grade the Dr gave it and is completely happy . Is there anything wrong with that? Its a totally different situation if he sells it as a 9.2 and the buyer is unhappy and wants to return the book. As long as the Dr. refunds the money or adjusts the price accordingly then that would be ok as well IMHO You're missing the point by about a mile. Muscleshark bought a pressed, slabbed 8.5 book - he cracks it, offers up it for sale as 9.2 raw, and doesn't disclose the fact that it was pressed (which I personally don't care about) and that it was previously graded as a 8.5 (which I do care about). If you don't see the blatant dishonesty in that, you shouldn't be selling here on the boards either. On the side of being open minded, I sold a bronze key to Jive who thought it looked much better than the assigned CGC grade and so he gave it a straight resub and it went from a CGC 9.0 to a CGC 9.6. True story. On the topic of this thread, Frank just lied through his teeth without flinching a muscle. They are without a doubt the same book. That's enough for me. In my opinion...Roy , you are a hopeless dope without a clue. Nothing more...nothing less, wow a real leader of the masses...... Again, I will say. Grow up Frank. You can either show proof or not. You will know what will happen either way Find your own "Get Rich Quick" scheme...pretty sure Danny Dupcak already tried this one and failed ohhhhhhhh SNAP. don't get all excited, everyone is carpping on me because of what I said. So this newb will post no more on comic threads, as I don't have that much to offer I guess Could be worse, they could be riding you in the Out of Context thread.
  6. Bad DickP... Bad! Mocking me like that. Dude, get with it, you are supposed to threaten with legal action.

Does he have a better reputation because of the things he did? His cash flow still far exceeds his negative reputation.
  8. Yeesh, what's the big deal, he meant to say it sold on "Wonderebay".
  9. Can't believe you said that with a straight face. Jesus, how stupid can you get i can't believe no ones correcting his spelling dought = doubt It's not a spelling error, it's a new grading term that is used to describe two books that look exactly alike even though only one book exists and the seller insists there are two. For example: "I dought anyone on the CGC Board will catch this attempt at prestidigitation." *POOF* Now there are two books!
  10. It's only got four, but guys in comics I growed up with. Could use one more.
  11. I've been watching that show ever since I stumbled across it a few weeks ago. Last night's episode had a bit of a surprise ending with the Harold Gray art, didn't it? I missed it! What happened?
  12. Speaking of vintage art, anyone see the ad for "American Pickers" on TV? They were showing a stash of Harold Gray art they found.
  13. It did seem like a harsh reply to a polite guideline reminder, did it get worse?
  14. I answered before the edit, and just want to comment that "questions" are one thing, indicating something "wreaks" is different. (thumbs u
  15. I know for a fact that the majority of the books purchased/signed were the #1 variant, as I was the CGC Witness present. Remember this isn't a mainstream superhero title we are talking about, and though it was well received it probably didn't have the interest/exposure of something more mainstream. It's all good though, the book is fantastic. Track the ebay sales, I think it's a good idea to get a better handle on the actual volume of books that sell, and not just these variants.
