  1. Like This? :: go back through my 10,000 posts and count how many are only gremlins and I'll be matching up quite poorly against the gremlin masters........pm me a list of new GGA GA books for being difficult today. I dunno, proof is in the pudding... No new GGA GA right now, if there were, you'd be the 7th to know!
  2. The other thing to check is whether the buyer is still a participant in the PM, if they have removed themselves from the thread the PM will show as unread by none as soon as you send it. Check the My Message page to confirm they are still a listed participant.
  3. As a new seller on the baord selling to an established member, it seems reasonable to agree to send books before payment. How long has it been since the books were received?
  4. Agreed, I apologize for the mis-placed post!
  5. I said "the best of us". No worries, you are the bestest of us! (thumbs u
  6. Just the heads up that gilbertorres was not able to complete a transaction by established and extended timeframes, and as to not drag it out we have cancelled the transaction. I am not suggesting he be added to the Probation List, however as I know he conducts many of his purchases through PMs I just wanted to make people aware in case he starts to get overextended again. I will note that he is a good guy and I have a few completed transactions with him that were trouble-free, the purpose of this post is to help him not over commit, and I think he gets the point. Carry on! (thumbs u
  7. One of my favorite shows was Counting Crows on Halloween about 5-6 years ago at the Orpheum in Boston, Adam was dressed in a pink bunny suit the whole show and must have been broiling, another bandmate was dressed as the Beefeater guy, and another was dressed as a girl I believe. Fun show!
  8. I saw the thread and sent an inquiry to one of the people that had posted and didn't get paid....did anybody else get resolution with their non-payments?
  9. So I know blue-collar, blue in the face, bluebal (ah, nevermind), but was not familiar with "bluenose" def: a person who advocates a rigorous moral code Word for the day!
  10. More tape than Nixon! Uh, nobody "gets" that, ol'timer Heh heh heh, oh it's not that far gone of a reference D! Kinda funny really For those not in the know, required cinema 101: "All the President's Men" (1976)--whether you watch it on DVD or a VHS...tape! I'm having a bugger of a time finding current movies to watch on my Betamax
  11. This evening I will be firing up a thread for (mostly) HG SA Marvel and DC books, with a few BA as well. Nothing key some but some nice copies. See you in a few(about 9:30-10pm EST).
  12. Cool! I remember signing out that title and his others from my library! Blast from the past!
  13. I'm doing it!! Hanging out at the Gas 'n' Sip again? Guess that movie! Full Quote & Answer: Lloyd Dobler: I got a question. If you guys know so much about women, how come you're here at like the Gas 'n' Sip on a Saturday night completely alone drinking beers with no women anywhere? Joe: By choice, man. Say Anything
  14. Ooops..wrong thread....... Dang it, getting old and slow sucks!
  15. That might be the lamest Kudos ever. Well, maybe not as bad as my lack of Kudos, I owe a few and will compile a list soon!
  16. Maybe someone can start a searchable archive(instead having to use general site search function) of sold items....sort of like "CGCPA".
  17. Great books Andy. Love the More Fun. Man does that lion look surprised. Now that is my idea of hunting, hand to hand combat with a prey that can hold it's own. The guy with the gun, I am not so impressed with his skills. Poor bahstard, the lion already has spear through him, gets tackled by a Gracie trained grappler and has someone about to pump him full of lead.
  18. Sweetums first appeared on the television special The Frog Prince in 1971 as a witch's ogre
