    1st time I was able to pick up a missing copy for a reasonable price. 
    Still need like 40-50 more to get them all, The Gen 00 and Gen 01 have had crazy prices since they stopped selling them at walmart.

    The Covid Sticker release:  
    So only post on message boards is in reference to Strange Academy on 08/01/2020 and it mentions seeing this a couple months ago.
    Because people were locked down and not going to Walmart.  There are 20 titles which this type of sticker and it looks like there may have been 2 waves.    The 1st wave which I was able to pick out the standard 8 titles all with release dates which would fix an April Model.   
    With this gen I do not have numbers on how many of each copy came with a shipment like I do now.  Anyone who has this info to share it would be good to make a more complete overall picture.  
    I am posting this today because I was able to find a copy of Spider-Man Noir in the 3 pack for less than face which completes my Gen 06 collection!  I am slowly closing in on completion!

    Changing this from Gen 00 to Gen 01 due to info on which sticker came out 1st.  It appears the actual 00 Generation was the Spider-Man Captain America Dr. Strange blue sticker out in 10/2016 or possibly latter.  None of that Gen books were variants . 
    This release had 2 titles with WalMart Exclusive recoloring of a generally released cover.  There were 4 completely new covers which were never generally released.  There was Gwenpool which looks like it was not a variant at all.  Finally there was Secret Empire which added and moved around titles and graphics.

    I was able to score a 1st print Spider-Verse #1 WalMart Variant with the Light blue and white logo today.  It was still in real nice condition as well.  Sadly this was not in the wild, I broke down and got it on ebay.  Still 13.50 shipped seemed like a no brainier.  It was part of a 3 lot 3 pack set which is why the cost was so reasonable.  These seem to go for 20+ without issue.

    This pickup is a Symbiote Spider-Man #1 WalMart Variant.  This was the 1st print of the walmart exclusive with the UPC in the lower right corner.   I have been doing too much ebay shopping.  This one was a good price though just about face value + shipping.  Only 39 different seal packs left on my need list.  Also I am expecting in the next week or so the next Generation of books should start showing up if the release patter stays constant.

    This release had 3 titles with WalMart Exclusive recoloring of a generally relesed cover.  There were 3 completely new covers which were never generally released.  There was an artists variant cover where they removed the UPC and that was all.  The final variant was a regular cover where they moved the issue number and removed the UPC
     
    But this still does not explain the Black Widow Widows' Sting which shows up with the Gen 4 sticker as I have 3 copies of this but this was not listed in the 1st release of Gen 4 nor the 2nd release of 4a.  I know they came out of multi packs so maybe they were just using up stickers and books.

Walmart Exclusive Cover Package UPC 759606095780 I think this is the original sticker which this issue was supposed to be released with however there are variants where this book is in a pack with a Gen 05 or Gen 04a sticker.  The Copy I have of both Gen06b and Gen 04a proves that the UPC on the packaging is the same no matter which sticker was used, which adds credence to the fact that they were just using up old stickers.

    Walmart Gen 06 Strange Academy #1

    I was able to score a Strange Academy #1 WalMart Variant.  This was the 1st print of the walmart exclusive with the red title.   I broke down and got it on ebay.  This one was a bit more pricey.  The title itself seems to be selling pretty well so it was no shock that the cost was up there.  This was the 1st one in good condition which I have seen within the past 6 months so I went for it.   Only 40 different seal packs left on my need list.

    23-02-16 They are back again with a new sticker Spidy storm and iron man.  For those tracking this is Gen 14.  I don’t know why Storm looks so Glum.  Also I know this journal entery is very similar to my post on the WalMart thread.  I guess I am hopping that even if CGC pulls the thread down they would keep the journal.  But I guess that is the risk in producing content for a 3rd party site.

    I was able to pick up a Spider-Verse #1 WalMart 3 Pack with a Gen07 label this past week.  This puts me 1/2 way completed for Generation 07.  I was able to get a decent price on ebay for it.  Sadly I was unable to find it in the wild, or at a show.  Hopefully the info which is collected bellow will be helpful to anyone else who is trying to put these runs together.  On this batch I do not have any of the quantity which were released in each shipment to the stores.  If anyone has that info I would be happy to update the post and give credit for the info. 
    I still need the following if anyone has extra copies and are willing to sell or better yet trade for ones you are missing.

    The last post on this thread was 11-29-20 with someone picking up new Iron Man 1, Black Widow Widow's Sting 1 and two Black Widow 1 three packs. https://boards.cgccomics.com/topic/444527-walmart-marvel-comics-variants/page/8/#comments.  It looks like Gen 07 came out in 11 or 12 of this month based off of the posts.  This looks like another batch where they were using the Gen 06 sticker but new batches of books were having release dates which were clearly after the initial wave of the Gen 06 sticker came out which seems to have been April 2020.  All of Gen 06 came out in the initial wave of Covid-19 so the data which was collected was really not great.

    I was able to score a 1st print Venom #25 WalMart Variant with the White logo today.  It was still in real nice condition as well.  I am not sure if I am missing the 8th title which was released or if they just shipped more books which already were using that sticker.  Either way I have been able to get one of each except for the ASM 45. 
    ?Gen 06a 07/2020?
    No good posts outlining a new wave but judging by the number of title which used this sticker my best guess is that they put out 3 different wave during covid and just used the sticker which was on hand.  Proposing 07/20 as this fits in with the title releases and is 3 months after the first wave of 6 came out.  This wave was Empyre Heavy.

    Sunday was spent driving to Wal Marts and listening to the Bears loose on the Radio.  I was able to get my copies of what I am denoting as Gen 13 of these books.  They are still selling for 9.00 which is a good price for new books.  I have a copy to hold and a copy to open so I will also post what is inside when I have a chance, probably going to do 1 per day over the holiday.  I am a little bummed, this batch of Walmart Exclusives all have dropped the upc as part of their redesign.  How can these take the mantel of New Stand / Retail Copies if there is no UPC!

    Today was a good day.  Stopped @ a Walmart in South Bend IN ST# 02680.  I was able to find a Valkyrie: Jane Foster #1 Gen4 , Excalibur #1 Gen5, & Road to Empyre: The Kree / Skrull War #1 Gen6.  All for the standard 9.00 for the 3 packs!  At some point I will post a check list that I and others can use.  
    I don't know why I like grabbing these, I just like seeing comics in non comic book store settings.
