  1. Listers, I've done two 160 page trade paperbacks on Wolverton, but both are sold out. The good news is that this weekend we finished the CD ROM edition which includes both books for $20. Ditto my Alex Toth books. Alex Toth: Edge of Genius is just out, and Will Eisner, Edge of Genius is due in a month. Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination
  2. Bangzoom, How about more Eisner, please? Jumbo 6, 9, 17* Fight 1, 2, 3* Planet 2, 3, 5*, 6 Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination Publishing
  3. I might post them as part of a group photo, but I doubt I'll be posting scans. I already have seen that lots of images are being used around the Internet. All-American 16, Adventure 40, and a bunch more, for example, are up over at the GCD site. I think, at least at this time, I'd like to keep some of the more special comics a bit more private. Maybe I'll change my mind at a later date. Bangzoom, Sorry you are unhappy about the posts to the GCD. As you know, the GCD is a volunteer group, and nodody makes a buck off of it. If your images have been uploaded it's because they were upgrading existing covers others have contributed. The listers appreciate your continued kindness to us, and I personally would hope that you could extend that to anybody who uses the GCD. Would getting credit for the contributions change your mind? It might be a good addition to the database. Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination Publishing P.S. I coughed-up a $100 contribution last fall because I think it's an important resource. P.P.S. More Eisner and/or Fine, please.
  4. More Eisner covers, please. Where is that stick-prod icon when I need it!? Regards, Koko
  5. P.S. Please, more early Eisner. Regards, GT
  6. Glad they are in plastic bags. Otherwise, I just drooled all over your books. Regards, Greg Theakston
  7. Bang, I'm not a condition freak, but these books make me want to be. The conditions are superb for 60 plus years books. You should curate the Mona Lisa. Good work, BZ. It's like sliding up to a great dealer's table, and getting to REALLY inspect the books. Looks good at six feet, knocks my socks off at eighteen inches. "Wadda ya mean, it's not for sale?" Glad you are back on the scanner. Five minutes of your time will give us hours of pleasure. Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination
  8. Listers, I took a couple of hours off and investigated this entire thread. Cool stuff gents. Shockingly, not a single Subby #7. Is this book especially rare? Anybody else got a copy? Condition? Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination P.S. Have a scan but no idea how to post it from my computer. Help!
  9. Gents, This is, I believe, Reed Crandall's first comic book art. Roger Hill showed me a copy years ago, and the interiors are also Crandall. I would LOVE to reprint this book! Greg Theakston Pure Imagination
  10. Mr. S, Great snag on the Torch issue. I just cut one up for a Masterworks reprint. And the very good news is that I didn't cut or bleach the cover, which is in one piece. If you will remit your address, I will remit the groom. Can you believe it? A Golden Age book going UP in condition? Regards, Greg Theakston Pure Imagination
  11. Except, you might want to READ it, as apposed to OWN it. Regards, GT Pure Imagination Publishing
