Hello guys and girls! I'm new to posting here, but I've been reading the board for a while. I got turned on to Locke & Key after reading Horns and loving it. I went to Joe's website and discovered the comic in January and have been hooked on collecting it ever since. I don't do CGC, but this seems to be the most active Locke & Key board I can find. I did get a little worried after the posts here virtually came to a halt after the TV show wasn't picked up, but it looks like a few people are still posting (the comic is fantastic with or without a TV show). I just finished reading Keys to the Kingdom and couldn't believe the ending. Gotta go get Clockworks #1 on Wednesday. My comic shop didn't get last weeks shipment in for some reason. Anyway, I just wanted to join in with you guys to discuss an awesome comic that I just cant get enough of.

it explains a lot yet at the same time leaves you with more damned questions 
so who is ordering that giant key ? Considering the shipping I think my cash is going to go to avengers #4 ... I wonder how many he will sell ...I may consider it... only because it will be more an art piece than a small key... looks awesome.
I was thinking a display of the other keys around this sucker would be amazing ...
I really do want that avengers #4 though ... FA cap ..

Next up, he talked about the upcoming story arc. Here is the teaser image:
He said the group is going to stay where they are but will be exploring. They are going to encounter other groups of people. Some of which will be friendly and some not so friendly.
During the Q&A, I asked if "DAVIDSON" will be in one of those groups of people. He paused for a good 2 to 3 seconds and then said, "I can neither confirm or deny if Davidson will be involved."

Wow wayyy too much other pops up when i search for avengers #1 on ebay I freaking hate that
same thing when is search for a walking dead #2 or invincible #1 Pretty much every other item from those runs pops up -

no way i can afford a #1 but I am in the market for a #4 low grade ... I saw a 5.5 off white on ebay but the seller won't ship out of the states his loss
Is'nt the No.1 about the same price,+/-.?
I've never really looked into it ... maybe i should get both ... I know I want a #4 first though because I collect marvel First apps 
I always just figured avengers #1 would be up with the rest of em Like I said I normally just stick to moderns because of the prices of vintage stuff 
PLus I tend to stick to 9.8s of stuff & you just can't get 9.8s unless you really shell out ... if there are even any of the vintage stuff ... I am at the point now though that I have simply decided that I want some stuff for my collection simply for the sake of "owning it"? " having it" ?.. I I guess ... In my collection ... no matter what the grade is .. Right now from what I am seeing low grade #4s in 3.--5 off white or cream whatever seem to be in the $500 range ... I figure I can do around that for one ...
thoughts ?.. advice ?... price guides ?..

So how hard is it to find a white pages copy of #4 ?.. is it worth the cost to get one ?.. I was thinking maybe getting a lower grade white pages copy than a off white or cream to off white or whatever the labels are called .... I generally just buy moderns but figure I should add a #4 to my collection

just bought a big pile of comics for cheap and came across this, love the cover and cant wait to get into the usagi comics
a good starting point (note just in case you are blind this is the cdn site )
I got these I need to start collecting the next trades that come after these or hope to hell they put out more omnibus styled books!

I am kind of happy to see carl is well even though its all wildly_fanciful_statement I am eager to see where they go with this one! Just how much does carl remember will he remember at all will he turn to the dark side again or just be a wuss from now on in which case i will wish he was dead why are you still reading these ?.. cheating cheaters! you know who you are!

clockworks #1 ... all i have to say to t his is ... whoa! Off to a very good start I simply can not wait to see #2 With this book minor spoiler ... we finally learn ... I guess ... how the locke family & key house got their names from Very well done!! Also this one makes me think that perhaps the description used for the tv series we saw a while back that I made fun of was not really that far off after all Should I even bother using spoilers ?.. or care about posting spoilers ?.. am I the only one posting in here now pretty much ? ..
