Mmmmmmm ... Walking Dead art. I need some of that.

I didn't get much at Heroes this year but I did: Pick up a Tommy Lee Edwards sketch. Not to mention this cute Catwoman by Joe Pekar. My wife picked up a couple of sketches. I won this great Cliff Chiang piece in the art auction. And I got to pick up this great commission from Robert Atkins. All in all a good show. Hoping to make next year four in a row!

That all depends on which Preacher OA you're comparing it to. Grat commish though! I love Burns / Starr.

Oh - I was watching a few of these covers when they were up on eBay ... still regret not pulling the trigger on them. What was the other one that you won?

This was part of a massive 12-page spread in the latest issue of Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. I've been waiting for the perfect page from this series to surface. I think I may have found it. Is it a nice splashy page? Check. Does it feature the entire team? Check. Decapitated Iron Man babies? Check. Cheeseburger flinging E.O.D.O.K.s (Elvis Organism Designed Only for Killing)? Check. For a fan of Chris Bachalo's work, it doesn't get much better than this for recent artwork. I haven't been this excited about an art day in a while. And I can't believe I used the dancing bananna in my post ... *sigh*

I'd like to find just ONE nice Fables page. Well, one nice Fables page that isn't in Cort's collection anyway. :-P Great batch of pages. Love the ones with the Adversary and that last one with "Red" and the wooden soldiers is great.

Hey guys - Here's my latest pickup. The first four pages to the first issue of the new Jonah Hex series. A nice little contained story by penciller Luke Ross.
