  1. You're right, , not one Police comic. There's a bit of Four Color, Adventure, Horror and some Superhero from the GA though, but only a few. Decent amount of Silver I guess. I was wondering if there were any architects in the house? Or if anyone know of any they can ask some questions too??? I'm really very concerned about my floors caving and am wondering what kind of load they can sustain. Floor joists are 2 x 8 1/2 with 14" spacing. House is a good 70 years old. Upstairs floor (3rd floor) for the books is 20' x 30'. Underneath this floor there are walls to divide up the 2nd floor, but am unsure if they are load bearing or not as I don't have access to the basement. (See page 77 for pictures of the 2nd floor (first two pictures) and then the top floor where most are being stored (last two).) Am I chancing things going five high (15 boxes)? That's 750 lbs over 9' sq. Of course on it's own will be fine, but add to that 50 piles that I have to fit up there. Right now there are 25 piles (or 375 boxes) for 18750 lbs approx. So I basically will be doubling that once I get all of my books in location. Hoping someone knows something about this??? If the floor does collapse, I guess it will be the easy way of carrying them down, as it wasn't fun getting them way up there, !!! Just hope I'm not underneath when it goes.
  2. Sorry to hear about the injury. The picture is me inside of the big truck. There seems to be a lot of bulk comics kicking about these days so I'm not sure about bringing them to a con. I sure wouldn't.
  3. If it's something that you have been wanted to do, and have gone as far as the name and site, don't give up man. Spend the $20 or $40 and take your computer into one of many computer experts looking for work and I'm sure they'll get you up and running.
  4. don't tempt me Bill, If I stub my toe on one more comic box....
  5. I am actually opening up a shop. Just not a brick and mortar one. I've been selling sporadically online for years and am now going to do it on a more full time basis. First I have to get them all sorted though.
  6. Hey Roy, Yeah I'm in Hamilton now. Still got those books for ya
  7. There's only one guy on here: parlourguy, whom has seen my collection of Gold, Silver, Pulps and OA. And that was after I sold 32 boxes of the Gold and Silver to Terry O'Neil and Moe S. (Moe's Attic). But hey, anyone that wants to come over and help me sort comics is welcome, !!!
  8. I've been collecting for 23 years. Buying and selling for 18 of that. None of those are my Platinum, Gold or Silver or even my regular stuff. These were just all of my recent purchases. There's a bit of Gold, some Silver and decent amount of Bronze in it, but mostly mainline stuff.
  9. Torch, It's my board and ebay name. Of course the ebay name came way before. . When I commit to something I go total OCD. I actually collect mostly Platinum and Gold, with some Silver and OA. The Copper and Modern stuff is just a recent thing. The Gold collectors know me already from my Golden Age selling threads from last year. Twistty, I do have some living space and an air mattress. But that will change once the majority of my comics arrive. I'm in the army so pretty low maintainance when it comes to needing living space or comforts. Aggie, Yes I know that link well, , I've posted a good number of Gold and Silver in the past and am now just starting to post some Copper and Modern.
  10. Yeah, everyone that visit's me says the same thing.
  11. Ontario. Don't mind the Indiana plate. I rented the truck in the US because it was cheaper believe it or not.
  12. And the real sad part is that this is only my new stuff I just bought. I still have to somehow fit over twice as much somewhere. And I'm worried about the floor collapsing Anybody wanna buy a comic???
  13. Wow, I really feel shamed. Looking at everyone's neat and organized rooms. Here's a few of my rooms with comics. I'm sure it'll make everyone feel better about how organized they are, I just moved to a different city and am still in the process of organizing and sorting.
  14. First of all I just want to say "THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!" I've just spent an hour reading through all of this, I don't even have to watch TV anymore. But that I completely agree with Sub. Problems with sellers should stay in the Sellers forum, discussion and all. The probation list really does not change that much and would not tax the mods too much to give them the only access. Once it's decided that someone is on probation then they should be asked to change the list by a very short few pre-determined members (probably Divad as one, ).
  15. I have been away for my job and then at NYCC working the show. Today is my first day back to some sense or normalcy. Sorry if I did not get back to you. I tried checking the board from my phone, but was unable to reply to advise. I see you may choose not to sell to me any longer. If this is the case, please advise, as I did not want to cause anyone any issue. Thank you. So if you're back how come you haven't responded to my PM's asking for payment over the last two weeks (3 since April 6th)!!! The PM's also show that you have read them, and I see that you are having no trouple posting the sign on other people's sale threads for say Iron Man's. You owe me for a bunch of CGC and raw that you posted the . So what's the deal here???

  21. This quote is from the lawyer in Germany to me. "today I gave the german police in Hameln the concrete story concerning the transaction of WF Uthe with my client. In fact, I contacted the police officer, who is working on UtheŽs case. He is well known for his deeds and this police officer (Hr. Rinne) told me, there have been several attempts to hunt him down. In fact, there have been several searches in his house, located Dreischenbreite 2 in Hameln (Hamlin)." Just so its clear there are two lawyers that are pursuing Wilhelm right now.
  22. Great news guys, The lawyer in Germany has contacted me. He has provided his email address and asked that all people whom have been victim to Wilhelm Uthe contact him with as much details as possible. Please PM me and I will give out his email address that way. Let's nail this sucker!!!!!
  23. Just to keep you all updated, and so DDSH and TonyStarkFan don't get multiple emails I have sent them both the entire contents of the website. Thanks for the help in translating guys.
