It’s a beautiful copy but if your scan represents the color pretty accurately, Heritage needs to provide scans that do the same. I’ve bought a lot from Heritage and been mildly disappointed with colors on books because they are not nearly as saturated as they were portrayed. Great pick up though Andy!

Atomic War 1 8.0 ow. This copy exhibits nice color and gloss. Light smudging on the back cover almost looks like ink from another book. Tiny bit of paper at the bottom staple pulled away but definitely not a popped staple. Cover and pages are tight at both staples and the centerfold. A really attractive copy of this seldom seen book in grade. A 8.0 sold in 2008 for $1,150 and a 8.5 in 2016 for $2,091. Asking $1,650 shipped in the US.

I would think every issue in 9.2 or better would be an over guide book, for most of the run multiples of guide. 210 seems to be the most common book in the run so I would value it less than 209.

The 213 in the Heritage auction looks terrific for the grade and it is a tough issue above 7.0. It also happens to be my favorite cover followed by 214. I’m just happy I already have a nice set of these books but upgrading my 213 eventually will be very cost prohibitive! Ken
