if it was there when you originally bought it off the newsstand chances are that's distro ink which is not bad in your case as I don't think CGC hits Distro ink much unless its severe and affects the overall eye appeal.
Cool, that's good news. Nothing I can do about that anyway!

you didn't designate if its likely authentic
Not sure what that means, designate it "likely authentic?"

7.0-8.0 range. $15 (I narrowed the grade to more precise range).
But seriously, hard to see what's going on with that lower right FC corner. Fold or missing chip? Small bottom edge tear, bottom staple cover creases (about 1/4" or more) with reading crease, back cover soiling.
7.5
ETA: That's not a book that I have so, cool book!
Thanks, not sure what you're seeing, there is nothing torn or missing on any of the corners that I can see.

I would go with 6.5 but what's up with the yellow on the bottom and top of back cover is that distribution over spray?
Thanks, not sure. I think it was there when I bought it off of the news stand.

I would be in the 6.0 range cause of the tanning, staining and heavy crease in the back. it looks like a clean and press might help as the back cover has a bit of dirt on it.
Thanks!

I'd say 5.0 because of the staining.
Thanks

I'm at a 6 maybe with a clean and press 6.5 that staining at the BC top I think will hold it back
Thanks!

I’m at 6.0 or so. That small back cover stain sucks. I think it’s still too nice to be less than FN.
Thanks!

Colors look bright.
Noticeable spine roll, readers crease and fc corner crease, soiling on bc (water stain at top?),
5.0
Thanks

Thanks for all the input and the grades. I am new at grading comics and I have a pretty large collection of over 1500 comics that I am trying to sort out. Of those about half are Silver age that I bought myself new in the 60s. I need to figure out which ones are worth professional grading and which are not. Again, I appreciate all of the comments.

Thanks everyone for their comments and grades. I will probably not pay to have it graded, as was mentioned this is not a rare book and there are plenty out there to be had. I will probably sell it raw and at least recover the $3.95 I paid for it back in 1994.
PGM Daredevil #1! Grade is in!
in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

I've never seen a comic with that much fade. Was it left out in the sun for weeks? I have comics that are similar age or older and none are faded like that!
