  3. I did hear of a boardie from the UK whose visa ran out and he had to hotfoot it to New Zealand. I'll see if I can find something out. Any help would be appreciated
  4. I had hoped not to do this and have probably waited way too long, but here goes. I had bought 5 TTA pedigrees from brasseye around November last year...he was kind enough to give me time payments with the money due the middle of January. I paid off the balance (over $5500.00) by 1/23 and agreed to send him the paypal fees he incurred (he claimed over $150.00) as he would have preferred bank transfer. I did not feel safe with a bank transfer so I agreed to pay his paypal fees. The books finally ship and arrive on 2/20 minus one of the books TTA 95 9.4 Northland which was $450.00. I emailed him and sent PM's and did not hear back from him for a week. He finally responded saying he was stuck in New Zealand with Visa issues and was going to see if he could work out the book getting sent from England. After a month I emailed/PM'd again and the same promise again was made that he would try to get someone to ship the book out for him. By mid April I emailed and PM'd to ask for a refund as it was obvious that he could not get the book to me. He read my PM but did not reply...I PM'd/emailed a week later and once again he did not reply. I have not heard from him and he hasn't posted since 4/27...I want either the book or the cash, either resolution would be fine...if any English board members have any contact with him please get in contact with him to make this right...It's probably too late to file a chargeback through paypal but I will try...I made the last payment through a CC so I will go that route as well.
  5. Can anyone tell me what the Avengers 17 9.4 RM sold for in the last c-link auction?? I wrote it down and can't find it now Thanks!!
  6. Kudos to namisgr for a beautiful TTA 63 9.4 Northland at a very nice price!! Quick safe shipping!! Thanks again Bob!!
  7. I remember you getting that second one....hoarder. I remember you getting the first one (thumbs u
  8. Not sure if I've posted this in this thread before...not a prototype per se but a Hulk pre-cursor of sorts...highest graded trailed by 3 8.0's [/img]
  9. And now the second to last of my last purchase (still waiting on the last book ) but the book that I have been wanting to purchase for the better part of the last 3 years...thanks to brasseye for finally parting with it and thanks to Green for helping to fund the purchase with a purchase of his own. An underrated book IMHO, but a controversial "key" for some as evidenced by the "10K for the TTA 59 9.6" thread for the book that recently sold on Pedigree. I would be one that would fall on the "key" side as a Hulk fan and collector but I can see the other side of the coin as well. Without further adieu (for the 4 or 5 of you who actually read and post in this thread ) My new TTA 59 9.4 Northland [/img]
  10. Thanks Rich...the 9.6's are really nice The wrap on the 86 though makes it one of those "2 cent" Marvel's that drive you nuts...
  11. Another Northland...I used to own the 9.4 Green River copy of this issue which was very nice, but I love the NL's...I traded page quality for a better grade [/img]
  12. And now a few Northlands...man I love the NL TTA's...I know why Steve (sfilosa) was a big fan... [/img]
  13. No Welcome Back Kotter Seriously though...
  14. (thumbs u The Marvels are all bronze age so I don't know how interesting it would be. But let me finish w/ the Heritage consignment and I'll get back to you. Thanks!! Great collection!!
