  1. Every kid wanted those masks! I never met anyone who said they got even one, back then.
  2. They are the cheap ones ($4.95). They came out during the shows run, but were available into the '70s. These are the deluxe DP Munsters masks.
  3. These photos remind me of those creepy old Halloween photos, with kids in their homemade costumes.
  4. Hey, people do a lot of weird things in various groups and organizations!
  5. So then, who are the people in the photo, or was it without caption.
  6. They are parasites, like lice, or something. When I was a kid, according to most girls, most boys had "Cooties". EDIT: They were lice. "The original cooties were very real and extremely nasty, since the word was first applied to body lice. It's a slang term intimately (and I mean that sincerely) associated with the military in World War One. It's first recorded in print in 1917, but is presumably older." In the game, whoever got his Cootie put together first, wins. You had to roll dice, or something, to be allowed to attach one piece (leg, eye, etc.) to the body.
  7. I don't know how all the girls in 2nd grade knew I had this game at home?
  8. Of course, there are 3 times as many TZ episodes as there are OL.
  9. No more so than The Twilight Zone. Think of all the ho-hummers from that series. "Ring-a-Ding Girl", "Hocus, Pocus and Frisbee", "Once Upon a Time" (sorry, Buster), "Mr. Dingle, The Strong", etc.
  10. Did you notice the, barely recognizable, Zanti on his shoulder? What TV series, on that cover, does Peter Cushing represent?
  11. Don't you love the old days, when the actor had to grab the monster's appendages and wrap them around himself.
  12. Your board won't let me say "dumb a s s", without the spaces.
  13. No, dumb a s s! You were supposed to cut off the monster's tentacle thingy!!
  14. That's the old British "X" certificate, which replaced the "H" (for horror) cert. You had to be at least 16 to see those movies.
  15. These guys have excellent restored repros of posters and cards in original size, or smaller sizes for the wall space challenged. LCs are $40.00 for a set of 8, or $6.00 for single cards. 27 x 41 one sheets are $50.00. http://www.morbidmonster.com/
  16. For instance, in the regal role of "The King of Cartoons"!
