  1. Are sending the book back or not? I told you, I would refund your eBay purchase price. You have to add about being a lawyer and exact wording. If you want the refund send the book back.
  2. I tried to offer the buyer a refund, if he would send the book back. I saw he posted our conversations. He started the email with this: Send me the $300 back via paypal tonight and I will send you the graded book via priority mail tomorrow. I am a lawyer licensed with the Florida, New York and DC Bars. I tell you this because if I don't send the book to you as promised, you can file a bar complaint against me in those jurisdictions in addition to any other rights you may have. Happy to discuss. Brad Seldin, Esq. After multiple attempts to get the book back, buyer won’t send. I agreed to give him original purchase price from eBay. He finally wrote this: If you can not commit in writing to sending me $300 after you get the book, we can not work this out.
  3. If he wants a refund, he needs to contact me through eBay messages. I am willing to make it right, even though he caused all of this headache.
  4. If the buyer hadn't tried to blast me on 2 messages boards, I would have worked it out. He already had the chance to get a full refund, but didn’t take it and then wanted to have public bashing, on my business. The buyer just wants to rant and call me names. Would others sellers do it at this point?
  5. A full refund was offered on paypal. Buyer did not take and wanted to pursue his partial refund option. He had the option the entire PayPal claim, but since he wanted the 100.00 PayPal found in my favor.
  6. On the raw pic from eBay it hangs over the pages. I stand by my representation of a non restored book. Also why did you ask for a 100.00 partial refund? Why not ask PayPal for a full refund and send back the book?
  7. I wanted to add my side of this story to the post. The buyer contacted me 5 months after he bought the book, saying CGC has found it restored. If you look at the pics from eBay, you can see the edges are tattered not straight on the top and bottom edges. Also the book still over hangs the interior pages. I asked the seller where the book had been for 5 months and never got a response.
