  1. My previous submission, it took 4 business days, this submission only took 2 business days.  I like to commend CGC customer service for immediate responses on my membership credit.  I joined CSG (sports cards) around April, but never used the credit.  There was like 3 CGC different e-mailers that interacted.  It was quick and it shows a lot of care.  Now, I must submit more.

  2. As someone living in Houston, I'm surprised it didn't make the news given everyday they report on gun shootings.  And it is Houston's long tenure business.  I'm quite sure the burglar has been there before because he knew where to take the items.  In sports cards, it is happening at stores with burglars taking wax boxes.  Recently, I know a card business that listed a $25,000 (BGS Lebron RC- serial numbered) that was found by the original owner, who lost the card in the mail (theft)  He posted on a board on his finding his card, the card shop in days withdrew the auction and by weeks they gave the card back to the original owner.  Maybe insurance covered for the store, but be careful buying collections.  Hopefully the burglar do the right thing and somehow gets caught.

    Fast Track Modern 5 Books.

    Received 9/15

    Grading/Quality Control 10/23

Really unhappy with how long this took compared to non-Fast Track Books. I don’t think I’ll ever pay for Fast Track again—it seems pointless.

I was thinking why my submission took longer than normal until I remembered they have a lot of private signings which mean they get priority over us.  Once they are done with private signings they will get back on track.

  4. What is inspiring is seeing people go out.  For this past week, I've seen a lot of people riding bicycles, walking dog, jogging and all the recreational stuff with spacing.  Seeing people do their own thing is very inspiring to me.  When we have WWIII, I probaly see the same people going out doing their thing.  My city is top 5 in population, but we don't have the major spike like other cities.  As much this will change our lives forever, we have to keep going.

  5. The more hands passed through the comics, the higher the chance of a lesser grade.  That is my motto, so I don't every submit book directly to LCS.  I don't want to know the what ifs (books switched, mishandling, stolen, didn't submit).  Doing my own shipping already puts me at ease.  LCS is best at looking and buying books, but not for grading.  If you got some 9.9s, the comic owner probaly wants a tip.  Then the comic owner may want your books next time for keeps.  Too many factors.

  6. Defenseman don't sell unless they are a scoring defenseman even Paul Coffey don't sell.  I have the only graded comic on eBay (none have sold at that grade in 2 years) and I have a graded card on eBay (rare, like only 2 on eBay right now).  My graded comic gets around 300 views, but my graded card has like 1450 views.  $ is in cards, but safe and mature buyers are in comics.

Anyone know if CCS bills you when they start the process of pressing your comic or after they finished. Im just wondering about my turnaround time, I sent 5 books received 2/20, CCS billed 3/10. Thank you for anyone responding, this is my first post

CCS bills you before they press, but if your comics is better after pressing, they can up-charge you (which I gladly paid and will paid).

  8. I trust experience CGC grader.  Gloves would be used if the paper, or book is very glossy that it will show fingerprints, but this book is none of that so it shouldn't be needed.  The experienced grader likely don't ever use gloves to grades.  The way he grades all the pages without hesitation is all you need to know about the grader, he knows what he is doing.  Try to flip the pages like the grader, I doubt we can flip it that gingerly and that fast.  I've sent sports cards for years, but recently with comics, by far the CGC is the most fair grader.
