  1. Seems like shilling more than collusion. Unethical and more than shady no matter how you put it.
  2. IIRC they admitted that they would be nitpicking that movie. Like admitting it isn't perfect but really awesome.
  3. I was gonna say that I don't think they're gonna stop putting media players in PlayStations and XBoxes, but you may have covered that here. I too enjoy having physical media. A few CDs. I prefer buying physical video games. Lots of shows and movies on disc. Etc.
  4. Not sure if it was THE 1st comic I purchased on eBay, but, one of them was high-grade Avengers #28.
  5. Guess they never read about the 1990's. Learn history, or you're doomed to repeat it, right?
  6. Wouldn't "ego" be a trait of the person arguing with logic? But, you're right, I should leave the mental fixes to professionals and teachers. Easy movie to pass on for me. Maybe catch it on TV some day.
  7. The Eternals has nothing to do with life or open-mindedness. It's simply a prequel movie. Fighting fact doesn't open ones mind. It deludes it.
  8. You can tell that Superman took no thrill in killing the rest his species. Zod said he'll "never" stop. What was Superman to do?
  9. Dictionary: "a story or movie containing events that precede those of an existing work". The Eternals is undeniably a prequel. The MCU is a franchise and each individual film tells a relative story. So prequel. As I said before, you appear to be unaware of Marvel Comics, because Thanos had a deviant gene. And you can't say what The Eternals will or won't do since you haven't seen it. Not sure why you're arguing with logic.
  10. Context matters. Even without it tho, Captain America, Captain Marvel, and The Eternals all tell stories that precede EVERY SINGLE movie's events released before them. They are all undeniably prequels. Black Widow is a prequel in the sense that it tells a story of a dead character. Can't get much more prequel than that. Prequels are almost never a good idea.
  11. Google "prequel". You seem unnecessarily confused. The Eternals is a prequel. Captain America was a prequel.
  12. Actually, it does. You can't change the definition of the word "prequel".
  13. I didn't care for Rogue One, either, outside of Darth Vader. Sure, it closed a Death Star plot hole, but it offered really nothing else. If The Eternals = Rogue One then this will be about as interesting as I already suspect it.
  14. TFA further develops Han and Luke after their family expands. Doesn't set them back. Luke screwed up with Ben and went into hiding a la Yoda (his reasoning in TLJ is nonsense tho). Han's marriage falls apart and they both fall back to what they're good at. Han being a scoundrel lol. Kylo Ren puts the First Order together with Snoke. It is "Star WARS" after all. The good guys have always fought tyranny. I personally think TFA makes a LOT of sense and expands on the greatness of the original trilogy.
  15. I wouldn't consider Ego more powerful than Thanos. There are SO many powerful characters in Marvel Comics. Ego is a dam Elder who's a planet tho. Could be Top 10.
  16. The Infinity Gauntlet makes anyone #2. Thanos probably #8 tho?
