  1. Here's a scan of one the interior splash pages from my beater subby #32, IMHO its the best story in the 1940's run.
  2. SS, All of my Cdn. Timely's are in colour (cdn spelling eh!), although the image printing quality is generally poorer.
  3. Adam,Did the Mile High Subby 32 sell before Chuck published his 1977 catalog? Look at those prices - would have bought the lot.
  4. I has Metro's copy in my hands when I was in their offices last year. There's no way its NM, VF to VF+ range. No cover gloss at all. They were looking for $9k at the time.
  5. SS, The 32 was too rich for my blood. It looked like a great copy, one day I would like a high grade copy but I think there are just to many people chasing that book. Metro had a high grade copy for around $9000 last year and I believe that the Okajima copy also sold in that range. I will need a big raise or learn to buy one book every few months before that happens.
  6. beautiful book!! if you ever change your mind abouting selling it, please let me know
  7. Couldn't help myself on the 32's. One day I'll get a high grade issue and sell one or two of the undercopies. Favorite of the run is either #11 or 13. Those two are at the bank and hopefully I take a picture of them in the future and post them for everyone.
  8. part 2, some more Subby's, the rest are at the bank
  9. Here's my first attempt at using a digital camera,Sub-Mariner Comics part 1
  10. Shaun, Congrats, you did really well on those two books. Please keep me in mind if you ever want to sell them.
