  1. Thanks KC. The covers book came out in 2003. Not rare but it has a $49.99 cover price! Haven't opened it yet but it obviously has all the covers from 1-500
  2. And the books keep coming! ...more just in courtesy of Hobo Batman 227. This is one of my favourite covers of all time. I've been looking for a NM copy forever. Still can't find one so i unusually settled for a VF one (for the time being) and im glad i did! Also just picked this up from eBay for $2
  3. ... and the kudos continues. Thanks to Mutant Keys for an Amazing Fantasy 15 Thanks to Whomerjay for a nice pile of Secret Wars and X-Men books Thanks to Flying Donut for an ASM 121 toy variant Thanks to Worldsbestcomics for yet more ASM toy variants Thanks to Hobo for a stunning Batman 227 and a few freebies ... and with Hobo an extra special kudos for collecting ALL the above packages for me and then shipping them to me in one lot. He really took his time and effort doing this (for the second time i might add) and i can't appreciate it enough. It makes collecting for those of us in Europe so much easier and affordable. Thanks again Stu!
  4. Kudos to NM Condition for a flawless trade deal. Expert packaging, excellent comms and a pleasure to trade with. Thanks Otis!
  5. Of course they didn't have PC's back in those days, silly!
  6. Two more to add to the ASM collection First Shocker Second Punisher
  7. Kudos to Mad Dog for slow payment. Always a pleasure Kudos to UKavenger for another slow payment ... (a theme here?). Thanks Peter Kudos to thelesserfool for ultra slow delivery, but it got here! Kudos to the one and only Foolikiller for a great batch of books. Another turtle in terms of speed but the freebies more than make ip for that I love all you guys
  8. Kudos back at ya for helping a brother out. guess you really didn't like my cgc 9.6 after all. foxy heartbroken
  9. A few recent arrivals from the good folks on these boards
  10. A big round of applause to mr comicdey for a huge box of books. Simply put, the man is a legend. Thanks Collin!
  11. I bet borock and his crew destroyed 50 copies testing out the removal of the holograms when their first one came in for submission. Newt used the holograms for his wallpaper in his outdoor toilet.
  12. I've done it. If I hadn't been so careless right at the end and ripped that piece out of the cover, you wouldn't be able to tell it ever had the hologram. I had wondered about the holograms since Taste_of_H8red was asking about Wolverine 75s some time ago. I had some X-Factor 92s with badly rusted staples (guess I didn't notice the staples while I was cramming that $30 longbox full ), so I decided to see how well the holograms came off. It's not too hard, you just have to be careful and very patient. You've given me something to do tomorrow! Thanks!! Any tips or tools needed
  13. It doesn't make sense either. That a double cover gets a blue and a missing hologram gets a green. Hell if a Hulk 181 was somehow manufactured without the stamp then it should get a blue. Manufactured errors should always be blue but now their green. Well in that case how about books with an ugly miswrap. Shouldn't they be green as well? Can of worms.
  14. Remove the link before anyone else sees it. I want to win that
  15. Beautiful! Congratulations!! Has it been colour touched?
  16. Man you "x" people are just egging each other on. It's like a race to the finish with death being the only obstacle
  17. You see i think Arex destroyed the box before he sent them but packaged them well enough so that you THINK they got damaged in transit. That way he gets extra kudos for his "supposed packaging". Always be weary of a crooke
