As for the Spidey Sideshow, i worry about it leaning.

 

Considering that it's at the beginning stages of production and all anyone can seem to do is talk about potential leaning, I'm certain they're engineering this to prevent any issues. A rep already confirmed that they're using metal rods through the base, arm and body, and the lower-body will probably be very light compared to the base and torso. I don't think it's hard thing to prevent with some forethought, and their attention is already on it.

First half origin story was fun. Second half not so much. I'll watch it but if it's more AoS than Flash/Arrow it won't be for long.

They can't even say "Superman" it seems.

Yeah really sucks about the Marvel policy of no X-Men/Fantastic Four. I would imagine this also applies to Sideshow so with no XM Doom anytime soon I'll probably pick up the Sideshow version.

Can't wait for my XM Wolverine and most of all Thanos

This Black Widow variant was put up yesterday. ES of 200. Wasn't even shown on the home page, only via email or those who shared it on FB/other sites.

Probably. I know i did the first comprehensive one by going through my collection and then other people took it over and updated it.

Sadly i don't have any pics to share as my collection is in need of serious organizing.

I would definetly recommend picking up his art books from his website if you are a fan. The new Marvel art volume 2 is beautiful with a "holographic type" cover.

I've been collecting his work since his Gen 13 days. At one point i created an online website and checklist in the early 2000's and had every book he ever worked on.

I think i have one of the biggest Campbell collections but have given up trying to track down all the 1 in 50 variants.

Finally got to meet him in 2013. Really looking forward to his Black Widow statue.

they will not let them expire. that's just not happening in this age. Comic movies are doing well in hollywood, or are at least perceived to be doing well financially.

 

FF2 is already scheduled for 2017. They will make a profit on this film. I'm 99% certain of it. Profit just gives them the green light to make more or ask Marvel for more. Marvel won't buy it outright, they don't need it.

 

This idea of Marvel wanting FF/Spider-man/X-men is just our wishful thinking. Marvel already knows if can put a raccoon, a talking tree and their Han Solo and make $$$. They have Star Wars, they have so much more that they don't need it.

 

Will they take it back if rights expire, yes! But neither company (Fox/Sony) is going to let that happen anytime soon.

After being blown away by X-Men DOFP a part of me wasn't so annoyed Fox was holding onto the X-Men ... then i read what they are doing with the Fantastic Four.

The good news is this movie will likely bomb giving Marvel a better chance of getting the rights back. The bad news is it will kill the Fantastic Four brand for a generation. Still maybe they can salvage characters to put into Infinity War like Galactus.

I hope this movie has a disasterous box office. Please don't go see it.

I really hate it when people hoard EXTREME multiple copies of books. Why would anyone need 500 copies of a comic i will never know. It's not even an isolated case. We all know Cal and his IMSM 1 fetish and i bet there are hundreds of people who hoard copies of various books. Two, three, ten. Fine. 500?

Why wouldn't you want it because someone has 500 copies? It's not an expensive book and the black cover makes it tough in high grade.

Yesterday's episode seemed like it was a filler to me. I loved the eye candy throughout, but it didn't advance much of the last few plot lines that were started. However, that ending was a real surprise.

I was friends with Nick (Flaming Telepath) and he mentioned this place a couple of times during conversation. Then when he knew I was looking for a Captain America # 100, he put me in touch with Arex, who had one for sale so I got chatting with Arex who suggested I should sign up.

 

Then shortly afterwards, I got chatting with Matt (Anfield Fox) after buying from him on eBay and he also suggested that I should join the boards so I finally got round to registering in late 2006.

 

The very best thing about this forum is the fact that I've made so many good friends through here. There are plenty of guys here who I enjoy chatting with but also a whole bunch who I enjoy seeing at our regular meet ups for beer and I owe that to the CGC boards.

I am so buying this. Will be my first 1/4 statue, i love it. I really wanted the 1/2 scale but it was too big and too expensive and the previous premium format was too expensive on eBay so this will be perfect for me. Can't wait

I don't know, Fitz kinda grew on me. Its a shame they write him out of the series by turning him into a vegetable, or at least, that's what I got out of it.

I don't think the show needs 2 "scientists" and i'm not ashamed to say Simmons wins on looks alone. Personally i would also get rid of May and Skye too and bring in Maria Hill (since her other show ended) and Sharon Carter.
