This one has a number indents and creases at the top and a few creases on the bottom right corner on the cover. There’s 2 small tears on the back edge of cover maybe 1/8” each. Also slight staple tears. The bottom staple is rusty. Stress on the binding. 3.5 maybe? I appreciate any and all input on this. Thank you!

Either something rubbed against this book and put a cut through the top left corner or a rat got to it or something. Other than that it looks decent. Some spine wear and chipping along the spine, blunted corners, a few creases, some indents under the POWER. I’d like to think it’s a 4 without the cut/chew. Maybe a 2 with it?

Yeah no idea what’s on the cover. I tried to see if I could chip at it with my finger but it’s smooth and the spots don’t have any edges. I got it in a 10 issue lot so don’t know the history. Usually you can feel bumps if it’s paint so who really knows what it is.

I know this book isn’t worth that much but I’m curious on what you think the grade might be. Main issues with this book is the obvious soiling on the cover. Not sure if you’d call this moderate or severe. Looks like it might be some kind of spray paint. It’s not raised at all. The cover is smooth. There’s also a one inch spine split at the bottom. Some staple tears throughout but no more than a 1/4 inch. Also the centerfold is detached at the bottom staple. I’m thinking it’s either a 2 or a 1.8 depending on the severity of the soiling. Thank you for your input.

Whoops

This probably isn’t worth grading but curious on how bad it really is. I’m guessing a 1 maybe. There’s s tear in the middle of the cover by the spine. The tear runs through to the second page. There’s some spots by the staples

Any suggestions on how I should store this one. I got some silver age bags and boards for my comics but this one is a larger issue and it’s a tight fit if I try putting it in that bag.

This one is rough. Maybe a 2.5? I don’t know. The spine is a little messy. The front cover is detached a little as you can see. There seams to be a small stain on the back page. Not sure what it is. On the bright side looks like Spider-Man 63 will be available soon.

Someones definitely read this one a few times but can you blame them. There’s a rip on the top of the spine that’s around an inch. Thanks for all the feedback on these

There’s a small tear by the staple on the binding

Had a family member recently pass and I found some comics at their house. I don’t know much about comics and I don’t know if it’s worth much in this conditions. I could really use some input! Thanks in advance! Here’s a little info about the comic that I’m sure you can see. There’s a piece missing from the front right top corner. This is the only piece actually missing from the comic. There’s 2 small rips on the edge of the front cover. Several of the pages have a small rip at the bottom maybe 1/2”. The staples seam to be off center. Not sure what that’s about. In the pic of the centerfold and back you can see the staples. Also in the centerfold you can see the small tear on the bottom of the pages.
