  1. This might be the first closed thread after the Great Board Outage of 2021!
  2. Judging by this recent sale on Heritage I'd say you did pretty good. I guess yours is around a 3.0 but post it in the PGM forum to get a good idea of what it would grade.
  3. There are Detectives from mid-1950 and #166 from December, 1950 so could there perhaps also be Crypt of Terror 17 or maybe Vault 12? Update: there's Marvel Boy 2 & Adventures Into Terror 44 both from February, 1951 so maybe there'll be good early EC and Atlas horror!
  4. I believe the upcoming 2022 "The Batman" has the Riddler as the main foe. It's all about the movies ...
  5. The clink is not real time, you have to keep refreshing to see bids which can't be done fast enough in the final seconds. Were you feverishly refreshing? If not, that is why you didn't "see" the last bids coming in.
  6. In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem If no one else can help And if you can find them Maybe you can hire
  7. That's Star Wars 11 and she has that "I love a man that can handle a comic book" look on her face.
  8. As a TCBC, I'd have a hard time working with all those comics I want but don't have, yet. I'd have to quit collecting. Any landscaping positions?
  9. Summon the resident Charlton quality expert! @kav
  10. Yeah 6.0 sounds right. There's also what might be a scuff above the G in THING.
  11. Worst miscut I've seen. Shame, because other than a back cover tear, this one is 9.0+. Sharp corners! I think the miscut affected the grade despite it being 'production related'. It's in the Sunday night Heritage sale, curious to see where it ends.
  12. Current (3rd) gen slabs are sealed on the sides. 1st & 2nd gen are not. The melted plastic on the side is a mold scar where the hot gooey plastic wad was shot into the mold. All the slabs have them.
  13. "COMPLETE LOCAL PROGRAM LISTINGS" and "GEORGE REEVES -- MAN and SUPERMAN" are both shifted left on the reprint
  14. That's a 2nd gen case. It's normal for it to be open somewhat on the sides. As long as the corners are fastened, it's fine. It wasn't swapped out.
  15. believe it or not he made a full recovery ...
