  1. I always ask that it be. In some cases I ask for double or triple boarding if they are willing.
  2. I'll be at Terry's show next year. Want to join Greggy and I Casey?
  3. None of these are newsstand editions. One last price drop to $825.00 and thread closes at midnight.
  4. For sale is 7 copies of Tales of The Teen Titans #44. All are CGC 9.6's with OW/W pages. Would like to sell as a group, but will break it up after a day or so if no interest is shown. No one on any lists or if I have you on ignore. Pressing status is unknown. BIN price includes CONUS shipping. Last sale was $160.00 but 90 day average is $130.00 Take all 7 for $900.00
  5. Between Bomber-Bob and myself, I am sure only one of us is happy.
  6. There are a lot of them. Some are just mind boggling.
  7. A press will help everything lay flat, but the full length crease on back cover is the grade killer here. Pictures are too grainy to see any other details.
  8. So no one has challenged you to a fight in Rich Henn’s backyard lately?
  9. Whoa. That is some scary stuff Bill. Please keep us updated.
  10. It’s not a true on-site. Even CGC had issues the few times they tried running books back nd forth from the show. Traffic gets so congested it prohibits you from even getting to the loading docks in a timely manner.
  11. “Sure did” doesn’t fix problems. Saying we are doing everything in our power to make the experience better for everyone is, at the very least, a reply people can digest. Since everyone one has their “thing” maybe the things can be broken out into segments or sections where, say the comic guys, don’t have to wade through 30,000 people doing their cosplay thing. Don’t know why I am even suggesting this as I already know the response.

  13. I wonder how many of these cosplayers spend thousands of dollars at the show?
  14. Look around the staples, it looks like color touch to me. It does not look like damage from a bad press job, but with so many DIYers who knows. Crayon may have been used which will give the “look” that glue may also have been applied.
  15. With all being, said it might be best for everyone to step away from the keyboard and revisit this (if it needs revisiting) tomorrow.
  16. I did OK. Have to see the grade to do determine how OK in a few months when the books are done.
  17. This one fell like a rock...while copies were in the process of being graded. Never forget some of the frantic emails I got for customers to see if CGC would allow their copies to be pulled and be spared the cost of grading.
  18. I might just stay home. Charlotte is in a few weeks and after that the only two shows I will travel for are WWC and Baltimore.
  19. I have been going to this show for over ten years. Two years ago I swore it would be my last time attending, but against my better judgement I went yesterday anyway. Aside from seeing Dale, Jamie, Angry John, Greg, George and a few other dealers and board members it was a logistical nightmare getting into the show (and this was on Thursday which is the slower of the 4 days). Circled around for 30 minutes trying to find a spot near the West Concourse. All the lots were closed, even though you could clearly see dozens of available spots from the main road. Finally had to stop and ask (as there were no signs indicating you had to head over to the North/South concourses) and found out where one could park. This required waiting for a shuttle that took about 40 minutes to get you to the door because of traffic in front of the West Concourse or a 25 minutes walk. I decided to walk. From start to finish took about an hour and a half to get into the show once arriving. With the exception of putting up signs that have more information about available parking there is little the promoters can do about Orlando traffic and parking, so I am now 100% certain I will not make the trip again, even though it is in my back yard. Hope all the attendees and dealers have a good show.
  20. Thank you for being the new CGC forum hero.
